But some people don’t like surprises so maybe not. :)

It is not part of Laz's line, which you can find here by the way:

www.trenttokens.com/collections/token-popsockets-by-laz

This pop socket is acquired in a particularly way. I'm hoping someone answers the question of how it's obtained, but if no one answers in a day or so I will.

It was part of the volunteer swag from one of the early virtual events. I can't remember if I got mine from 1b or 2a.

Maybe they can start offering neat items in exchange for treasure chips at regular cons? I think they've done stuff like that a LONG time ago.

I remember at one convention they were clearing out the 2005 mugs with the tokens in them for just one treasure chip each. In hindsight I should have cashed in all my treasure chips for them. :)

I actually have two of sets of each of the mugs, one set with the mugs intact, and one set where I broke the bottom and took the token out.

I know, I know, it's nuts, but have we met!?!

:)

If you're curious, I did it because I have most of my collection in some sort of categories, and the mugs fall under the Promotional category, and it made me nuts when I would look at my tray of all the Promotional tokens and the mug tokens weren't there.

If you think it's hard nowadays to find a full set of them (including the Ultra Rare one), imagine the difficulty with trying to find two sets!

Trent, I wasn't too surprised that you got a second set of the regular mugs and broke them apart, but I don't think I could have brought myself to break open one of the UR mugs. I feel fortunate to have gotten just one of those in my collection. :)
