No one has yet reported getting in tokens. I thought someone reported getting something non-TD from WB though, but I could be remembering incorrectly.

At this point I don’t think they are going to show up at all. But maybe I’ll be pleasantly surprised in the future when something does show up.

That said i didn’t donate just for tokens so it’s fine.

Maybe TD could allow us to send a receipt from world builders and the gold to transmute Auri’s Candles at what ever point they give up on them ever getting to the players.

I got my Selas Flower pin, but not Auri's yet.

Selas Flower pin? I don’t recall that. Was that part of this year’s Worldbuilder stuff?

I know that’s Wordlbuilders (extremely unprofessional) attitude, but they need to do better than that.

It would be fraudulent to run a reward based fundraiser and then broadly fail to fulfill their rewards.

I’m willing to give it plenty of time - but if they dont fulfill their rewards it’s not going to be OK with me.

Not to put too fine a point on it, but if worldbuilders fails to live up to its rewards obligations, why should anyone have confidence they are living up to their charitable obligations?

I think assuming they won't is the absolute height of negativity.

They take 0% for administrative costs. That comes at the expense of someone's (donated) time.

I’m not assuming they won’t. I’m saying they need to.

I also don’t know where you are getting 0% administration costs from.

Their 2018 irs filing indicated they spent over 100,000 on administrative expenses and another 65,000 on fundraising in 2018, versus 370,000 on programs. (According to data at charitynavigator.org)

I agree, and believe they will.

My comment wasn't necessarily directed toward you, despite me quoting you.

The reality is they are a tiny charity. That limits turnaround times, etc.. They aren’t taking massive salaries or wasting money on luxuries.

It os best to think of it first as helping a good cause then expect the item you picked sometime this year (or forget and enjoy the surprise.)

Remember the timing of this fundraiser. Tokens get delayed (TD’s did), shipping logistics have been horrific for everyone, and with only a few people - if anyone gets sick, they are stuck.

They posted an update recently. It looks like 2 people do all the shipping now since they can’t have volunteers there due to Covid concerns, a prior post of theirs showed several dozen shelves of various prizes to be shipped (10k+ items most likely.) The check to heiffer went out April 1st so they are starting to ship items now. With only 2 people, it will take months. If each person got out 100 boxes/day, best case is 2 months from now to ship everything if they don’t have a Covid scare.
