Maybe as a relic transmute. If I'm paying the legendary tax, it had better combine all the stones into one slot like CoA does. If they want to make it so we can make a cheap blue transmute that can be further upgraded to the legendary form, that works for me too.

It was already announced that there would be no slot consolidation transmute involving the nuggets like the CoA. Since this is intended as solely player convenience (It doesn’t change used slot count), I assume that it would have minimal to no transmute cost above and beyond the 3 nuggets needed to make it.


This idea has been tossed around before, and I'm strongly in favor of it. A simple transmute, just the three Ioun Stones (Silver, Gold, and Platinum) for the transmute, which takes the same three slots the others did. It makes it easier to carry, and easier to verify. Maybe make it a Legendary so it doesn't expire, and maybe make it with a chip for ease of verification.

I’m so on board with a rfid legendary I would even toss some gold in with the transmute and not think twice about it.

I like, but doubtful in a year when there should be the 3 biggest legendaries released!


I thought about that and I would be cool with JUST the UR this year, the 5 point next year, and the Legendaty the following year.

For consistency, perhaps design the three new Class Legendary tokens around the same power level as the Druid Class Legendary. I'm not a fan of the Class Legendary tokens getting more powerful each year, they should all be designed around the same power level.

Widseth's is the same year as Iktomi's, and it is incredibly powerful.

Perhaps all the 2021 Class Legendary tokens should be designed around that power level?

Should the tokens be designed around the same power level? Or should the end result of builds be around the same power level? Cleric and Fighter are both well behind the curve currently. Ideally that'd be fixed by other means (at the character card level), but who knows when that will happen?

I'm not saying that the Legendaries should push those classes to the top of the heap, just that their Legendaries could be more powerful just to shrink the gap.

I like this idea especially for new players since the other two ways I know of doing this are from a token last printed in 2017 and requires a dead monster or having a 5th level Bard cast a certain spell.

What about something like what some video games have, where you cobble weapons together?

Something like Common Weapon X + Common Weapon Y + Gear/GP/Nonsense = UC/Rare weapon Z?

So like 10ft pole + Sword + rope = Nikit's Stabby Long Spear
Dwarven Axe + Dwarven Crossbow + Iron ingot = Old Reliable

etc.

If necessary you could make it require a Dwarven Steel or Minotaur Hide, etc. but something very accessible and relatively cheap, i.e. Common ingredients only

You could make net-guns, flame arrows, weird clockwork stuff, etc

To go along with this idea...

How about a transmute item that is easy to construct and then it’s use is something like Voltron...specifically during combat the token is used and it accounts for say 3 people’s Shots and when it does shoot, it multiplies the effect by 3x ...the transmute is a once per room weapon but it makes the synergy of the team really come together if it’s some kind of requires a person’s two-hand, a one hand and a ranged?

The transmute itself is some kind of real crafting. Materials type crafting to form this synergy weapon of sorts
