It is usually open by 5 pm Wednesday. Most of the time they open earlier

In that case I'll give you one more. The good news is that Wednesday is now predicted to be mostly sunny and the remainder of the days partly cloudy. The chances of precipitation never go above 21%. While that doesn't mean you won't get wet, there's a better chance of it staying dry. On the other hand, we have temperatures.
Highs 56-63 degrees
Lows 43-48 degrees

Not a lot of change in temperature. I guess it depends upon your tolerance for cold. For me, this is light jacket weather. Even in the 40s its not too bad unless you're outdoors for an extended period, or unless it gets really windy. Wind predictions so far are moderate 9-11 mph.

This is why you can't trust early forecasts. The trend continues on the negative side. A few more days and you can start to look at this more reliably.

Lows 41-46 degrees
We're currently looking at partly cloudy skies for the duration of the con. We're also down to temperatures where you have to start thinking about wind chill. We're looking at 9-10 mph winds, so take another couple of degrees off of the current forecast. Still, I think this is better than the last couple of GHCs. And in general this is pretty normal. It's just worse than the initial advance forecast.

I guess it is 2pm now for TIME badges can start being picked up on Wednesday

Hello everyone! It is almost here! As we are about a week away as of this writing, we have some important information to pass on to you before you come to Gamehole Con. Here we go!

WILL CALL
We are opening Will Call at 2:00 pm on Wednesday afternoon, October 20th and it will remain open until 7:00 pm. The Registration desk will then open the following day, Thursday the 21st at 7:00 am and will be open during show hours for the balance of the convention.

PROOF OF VACCINE
Proof of Covid-19 is absolutely mandatory and there will be no exceptions. So please make sure that you sort this out before coming to the show. You can satisfy this requirement by showing your actual vaccine card, a photocopy, an image, or through an app clearly indicating your vaccine status. Please do not make this harder on our volunteers than it has to be. Please have your proof ready when you approach the Registration desk to either pick up your badge or to register on-site.

HEALTH AND SAFETY ACKNOWLEDGMENT
Please make sure you follow this link to our Health and Safety Acknowledgment. By attending the show, you are expressly agreeing to the terms, conditions, and requirements contained therein. The most important one being – if you are feeling sick DO NOT COME TO THE SHOW! Please read and review this short document carefully before attending Gamehole Con.

MASKS
Dane County has extended the mask mandate to and through our show dates. We expect all of our attendees and exhibitors to comply with this public health order. In brief, masks are required at all times when indoors at our show excepting only when you are eating or drinking. For the full details, please follow this link.

PARKING
Parking remains free at Gamehole Con. Please park only in the designated parking areas and not in the circle drive immediately in front of the Alliant Energy Center. The drive is a Fire Lane and only for dropping off persons with ambulatory issues.

ADDITIONAL FEATURES
We have a few other features that could prove important to some of our attendees. One is that we will once again have a Quiet Room for those needing some time to decompress a bit given all the stimulus a show like ours can bring. We ask that all those using it respect it for what it is.

Second, we have a breastfeeding/pumping room this year as well. It is just off of the lobby near the atrium. If anyone has trouble finding it, please ask at Registration.

NEW EVENT
It is crazy, but we keep adding them. Tabletop Gaymers are hosting a social hour Friday night in the Monte Cook Games Lounge (second floor). They will be running a number of games for folks to enjoy that night.

VIRTUAL GAMEHOLE CON
Can’t make our show in person? No problem. We are again running a parallel virtual show and it is full of great games needing players. Grab a badge right away and check out our amazing virtual games.

One last forecast update and you're on your own.
If you arrive on Wednesday, the temperatures will be a little more mild with a high of 67 and a low of 47. There is a good chance of evening showers. Be prepared.
The rest of the week isn't bad, but not that great. The highs are a few degrees below average.
Thursday through Sunday
Highs 52-55 degrees
Lows 36-46 degrees
There may be some showers lingering on Thursday morning. If you drive and it gets any colder, you might have to be prepared to scrape frost off your car in the morning. Let's hope it doesn't come to that. On the plus side, there's no snow in the forecast and fifties during the afternoon aren't too bad if you want to hit the food trucks.
If you use the enclosed corridor to get from the Clarion to the convention center, it's not always fully heated, so you still might need a light jacket during the morning hours or in the evening. Again, it depends upon your tolerance for cold.
