Also, I've never done in person trasnmutes. Do we drop off the tokens sorted into baggies with slips inside just like we do when we mail them in? Or is it a different process? Is it verified right then and there and the token is handed over or do we dop off and come back at a later time to pick them all up?

In the last it has been mail in only.

Very similar, with with drop off/pick up. Sorted and bagged yes, with a sheet like mail in.
.there will be a. LoT of people around to help guide you.

Only thing I will add, is that you leave your phone number and they text or call when you order is done.
You either discover a star or you don't. You arrogant punk.

The only thing I’d add is that turnaround time can vary depending on the size of your order and the number of orders they’ve received. If there’s something you need quickly, and other stuff you just want done before the con is over, you might want to submit it as two separate orders.

What everyone stated is correct. If there is something that is needed ASAP. Please make a separate form.

I’ll have 4+ great people working with me. It’s just been 2 years since in person transmutes has happened.

I promise everything will get done that gets dropped off ( unless you bring 400000 item drop off at 745pm Saturday night… then that might get fine in Carbondale)

single token transmutes tend to process a lot faster than multiple ones. So if you're trying to make a legendary/eldritch/relic it's best to have it completely separate. Also have the tokens in your bags in order from top to bottom of the transmute list makes it easier for them to check everything off and get ti back to you quicker.

If you're doing a lot of trade good transmutes it's also a lot easier if your bags are all 25x of a given trade good and they can easily verify what trade good it is and pull the 1/3/6 pieces out for you.

The easier it is for YOU to verify it as you pack the tansmute, the easier it will be for them to get it done for you.

Will we be able to do 2-stage transmutes? For instance, I have everything for the Ogre Mage Belt but 1 Mystic Silk. I have enough regular tokens to transmute to Mystic Silk. Will I be able to transmute those tokens as part fo the same transmute or do I need to do the Mystic Silk Transmute and then the Ogre Mage Belt transmute?

I've never done in-person transmutes before.

When I have done them before, you are required to follow the same rule with mail in on multi steps...your final transmute must be in trade goods, not things that make the trade goods you need. I know this is just an example, but if anyone is THAT close on trade goods, etc, I bet there will be someone willing to swap you to save you the small multi step.

The best plan for quick turnaround is to prepare 3 transmute drops:
1. Only the few trade goods you need to complete big transmutes (ie step 1 of your 2-step transmutes)
2. Your important transmutes that you want back quickly.
3. All your bulk transmutes that you just want back before the weekend is over.
this is not a signature.

This, 99%.

If you have to transmute one silk, and one 3 or 4* transmute. Go in with the two in separate bags, do the first. 30 seconds later, do the second. If you need to “organize” anything do the 99%, if it is literally ‘drop this silk in this bag’ do the minority transmute. This all assumes you can’t do the best option, find someone with 300 transmutes already like Dragon said, and then skip to a single transmute. Waiting for 301 transmutes vs 300 is really nothing.

Question:

Can I drop off tokens without needing a GHC badge?
When in doubt, go left

You can't enter the event without a GHC badge AFAIK so probably not
