I've sent all the codes for any transmute we've received and processed. Did you not get your codes?

Lori, I was a bit late getting my ingredients to send for the transmutes, my order probably hasn't been processed yet. It does look like there are plenty of slots available.

Maybe wait even a couple of months to open things up for people to get a 2nd ticket to events? That might give people that haven't gotten their Rings yet time to buy them and still have tickets available. :)

Ahhh...yes, since the transmute hasn't made it to us yet, that makes sense.

My understanding is that March 15 is the day we will take a look at tickets, codes, etc and see if we can open ticket sales up to more than 1 per person. That should give everyone enough time to get their stuff squared away.

Lori

Will 2nd runs require having a 2nd ring or will anyone be able to get a second ticket or is that still TBD?

IIRC, doing a second run at Skull Con required a second Skull. If I had to guess, doing a second Sacred Circle run will require a second ring code. But I’m not in charge of anything. If I’m right, it might limit demand for a second run somewhat, since not everyone will have extra rings.

That was my thinking too but Dave’s comments above about not being enough space for everyone to do a second run had me questioning that since I’m almost positive a good amount of people don’t have a second ring code so that shouldn’t be an issue.

If it's based on having an additional Ring, that will certainly help. I'm just wondering logistically how that will work.

Change the system to allow putting in a second code?

I think that would be it, allowing each person to input a 2nd Ring code to get a second event. If the system could handle that.

Probably the best way to go, but requires a little bit of work. I'm assuming TD has a database of all the codes they've sent out and to whom. They'd have match that against a list of codes that have been redeemed. But what if someone redeemed a code, but didn't use it? For example, I have a MoE, so that was really the only code I needed to buy all my tickets. I went ahead and redeemed a Ring Code, but I didn't have to. Now, am I penalized because I redeemed a code, but didn't use it? Versus someone who didn't bother and now gets a bonus run. I think this starts to get a little complicated.

Edit: I'm NOT saying this isn't doable. But it will require a little bit of thought to work through all the possibilities.

I know at least 8 more rings that are being sent in. I think TD should wait until more rings come in. Or if rings are made after a second code is allowed, those people should be bumped to let others take their place by TD.

You did in fact have to enter your Ring Code and MoE code. Lori said so.

MoE Code allowed you to get a ticket for the Sacred Path.
The Ring Code allowed for one ticket to each of the other events.

I draw your attention to this thread and the statement that technically you did not need to enter both codes to buy your tickets. If the Ring code was required to buy tickets other than Path, then it would also have to interact with the MoE code to let you do so a day early. Yes, I'm certain they could have developers build that code, but the system has never had that level of complexity before.

Edit: My understanding is that Lori did say they were tracking to make sure you had both codes. Because even with an MoE, you still need a Ring to gain access to Ring Con. But from a technical, system, standpoint I don't think you needed both codes to buy the tickets.

TD isn't opening 2nd runs to people until after the March 15th deadline. Per the website, attendance at Ringcon requires a ring of the sacred circle to be transmuted no later than March 15th.
