I couldn't believe an intentional grounding call nullified a personal foul like attempted murder (the Bronco that launched himself into a helmet-to-helmet "tackle").

Watch the replay again. The defender was already in the air when Cam lowered his head to absorb the hit. The helmet-to-helmet was unintentional and incidental.

Yup... I said the same thing watching it live.

Still a helmet to helmet personal foul. The defender clearly led with the helmet and aimed high.

No, they called it as a foul - it was just negated by the intentional grounding call.

Hm, in theory if Sea, KC, Hou, GB, Atl and Phil all lose we could have a winner in Week 1. Also depends on who the last holdout picks.

So many helmet to helmet hits are going to be that way. Offensive player starts to duck and bingo helmets collide. Lets not forget the most devastating hit of the night when that Denver linebacker got a concussion from his helmet to helmet hit that wasn't called. It was odd the defensive player payed for it more than the offensive player this time.
