TOPIC: Fantasy Football 2020

I’d wait until training camp - maybe even until after week 2 of preseason.

I hate to say it but it is likely that the season will get cancelled. We’re already seeing big name sports players come down with Covid and none of them have done even much practicing yet. Football will have entire O lines going down, etc.

Hopefully they work out a solution that works.

From what I understand, there will be no preseason... As for the season being played... I don't know honestly, but there is soooooooo much money involved I think it has a pretty good chance of happening in some way shape or form

I went ahead and paid so I didn't forget. I actually agree that there are enough questions that waiting is probably better.

I hadn't heard about no preseason games. That should make for an interesting start of the season as teams learn to gell and figure out who should start at X position. It definitely makes drafting rookies more risky.

First I want to say I hope everyone is staying healthy and safe. That being said...

It looks like camps are going to be open and the season at least in theory should at least start.

If the season progresses to week 16 there will be no need to change anything and we will progress as normal.

If the season is abbreviated this is what we will do.


***6 weeks or less, refund the season... no point in doing anything further

***If it goes 7 weeks or more (half a season at least but less than 16) we will award for what has been done. If you were in first in your division, you win the division. If you had the most points you get the points title. If you won individual weeks you'll get that as well. If we somehow get to the playoffs without finishing the playoffs you'll get credit for playoff wins as well.

-->But what did you say? There will be prizes left over? Well we will roll everything unaccounted for into the prize pool for 2021. Depending on how much that is will depend on what is rolled over. This also encourages our players to play next season to get a shot at the pot next season, even if this season sucked for you!

Also I will be expanding the IR slots by 2 players per team, those slots are strictly for COVID players. If that player is out because of COVID that is where they go. Please don't abuse those slots, I don't want to punish players but I will if needed.

Also for each player you have on the COVID IR, you have the option to get 1 more temporary dollar for picking up a replacement to be used that week. So once the season starts, in the ESPN forums if you have placed your player on COVID IR, please list the player, and me or Tony will get you an extra dollar for your team. If it is last second and you need it fast text me at four one niner---- three zero eight---- zero, one two Fiver---- and if I am awake I'll apply it ASAP. Please include your name and team name to expedite the process.

IF anyone has any questions or concerns let me know. I know this season is going to be wild and crazy, but if it happens we have a plan.

We may not need to lose you, but I do need more feedback on when to draft... I leave for work at 9pm est and return at about 630am... at least for now. So my available time is fairly open to draft
