TOPIC: USPS follies

Periodically the stars align and TD package to me arrives in around 28 hours (after spending 15 minutes in the St. Louis sorting facility). Nothing fancy to report though. Maybe the treasure gasses need some time to ripen, but not enough time to escape?

I didn’t get a shipping notice until 2 pm today. So, I was very pleasantly surprised when I clicked on the tracking and found out that our loot had allegedly already made it to the Chicago distribution center. Scheduled delivery is Friday, and there is a decent chance that will actually happen.

Similar here, though Dallas instead of Chicago. Might even show tomorrow, I'm regularly surprised/impressed by my local postal workers.

My treasure has an arrival date of Friday, but it is already in LA tonight - maybe it could arrive tomorrow!

Sadly, I woke up today to no update. I had hoped my package escaped unscanned. Those hopes are getting pretty dim. Once my package escapes St. Louis, its usually on my doorstep in about 30 hours. Right now, its going on 30 hours that its just sat in St. Louis.

Not treasure, but my last several transmute boxes have gone the opposite direction of TDHQ before going the right direction. I think we are just seeing a lot more human error than prior to pandemic. 1 of mine went from Indy to PA then back to Indy to Elk Grove, IL then ST Louis for its last leg. Normally Mine go from indy to ST Louis then HQ, but this last time Elk Grove was its first stop after I shipped it.

Mine is now slated to be delivered today, which will be one of the fastest treasure deliveries I have gotten if it arrives today.

Mine is also out for delivery which is extremely unexpected. It went from “pending acceptance” yesterday to “arrived post office” and “out for delivery” today

Mine made it to the PO that serves my zip code here in Indy at 507am. It still shows as expected by tomorrow night, though.

Mine made the trip across MO Zane arrived back in St Louis this morning. Unless the vortex snags it again, I should get my treasure tomorrow.
