TOPIC: USPS follies

Grennel must’ve inhaled the gas from my package.

Mine is in Indy, says Saturday for Delivery but I think it will be tomorrow.

Mine was scanned into the Indianapolis Annex at 1:38PM today. If I am lucky, I'll get it Saturday.

My treasure has hit the St. Louis vortex. Predicted delivery here in LA is Saturday, but I am not holding my breath.

Shipping cost for a single token has gone up a lot more than I expected.

I keep hearing this in my mind as my package successfully made it out of Aurora and is now in Oak Creek. I'd say I'm home free except last week a token purchase I made arrived in Oak Creek and was promptly shipped out to Memphis, Tennessee for two days before making another two day trip back to Oak Creek.

Anyway, put on my t-shirt that says "May the Force Be with You" and am hoping the package arrives tomorrow morning.

I shipped a couple purps, and while first class would have been just over $1, I didn't want that for shipping ultra rare, so priority postage was over $8. Now I'll know better.

Priority Small box has been over 8 for awhile now.

Momentary anxiety when my package never scanned as leaving Oak Creek. However, it did get scanned upon arrival at my local PO this morning. I'm not completely out of the woods yet. My local PO has never failed to attempt to deliver a package, but there is ongoing road construction on the street in front of our house. In the past, said construction has sometimes prevented the mail from being delivered. I plan to be keeping a watchful eye out this morning and will flag down the USPS driver if I have to in order to get my package.

Here we go! My package bound for Laurel, MD just arrived in Shreveport, LA. You just gotta love the idiots at St. Louis. Package is in transit, arriving at 9pm Saturday night...fat chance...guess I will be placing a ticket in tonight.
