TOPIC: Really Early And Premature Spirit Pet Request Thread

Now that Spirit Pets have been officially released, I wanted to jump on the band wagon early, and request a Spirit Pet Golden Retriever. Please, and thank you, for your consideration, time, and work.

There are so many cool options available here to give people an individual flair without being overpowered. Different rarity levels too.

From basic animals like previously mentioned dogs, (black) cats, hawks/falcons/owls, raccoons for the Pocahontas lovers - which could be common or uncommon - to rare or ultra-rare options like Unicorns, Pegasi, and Mechanical Owls for when you lose your helmet in a swamp.

I see this as a great way to make many players happy and distinct without needing to be “BiS”

All new TD discussions with new and old players alike - “What’s your Spirit Pet”. “What’s it’s name?”

So excited for this compared to a boring slot like “Greaves”.

As someone who has an ice themed wizard, I would love to see a snowy owl that does some ice type damage or something.

But as a person who shares my house with a cat I would also love to see a spirit pet: cat. When activated there is a 50% chance the cat would do nothing, for cats are often not bothered and are unconcerned with the struggles of others, unless it is close to dinner time lol

I too love the idea of spirit pets as a way of expressing individuality. Some ideas:

Otter: Monster must make a Will save or lose a turn admiring the cuteness.

Canada Goose: Does damage to all monsters in room but on a blunder slide damages all party members too.

St Bernard or Unicorn: Heal one party member (owner choice) 4 points.

Gib Gub, Francis, and Duck should be first in line.

"Spirit Pet: Kitten' - Distraction - raises AC by 42; 85% chance fight ends immediately. Monster and party spend remainder of time in room making cute baby noises.
