That is awesome. And John you better get her something nice for being so supportive of your addiction and also loving concern attempts at interventions.

Does a new laptop count as something nice?  She seems to think it doesn't make up for the spending on tokens.  <br /><br />...and now, Dwarven Forge has new items I want - I need the strength to say "no!"<br /><br /><br /><br />Oh...and I was telling another TDer that I think the Token purchases may be enough like Gambling that some of us who are prone to fall victim to the gambling bug (I think they call it a "disease" or some other strong word these days) should take heed and know when to back off or get help.  <br /><br />Don't get me wrong, I enjoy every pouch.  The problem is, while I know I cannot afford more, I'm sitting here thinking "if only I could find a way to buy one more 25pk."<br /><br /><br /><br />JKW

I know what you mean... I only split a 25 pack with the other members of my gaming group this year...  and every time I look at the list of purps I think "I can afford $250 for the chance of getting on of the three purps that I want.. right?  right?  RIGHT?"  and of course, my brain keeps turning my eyes toward the car payment booklet and the stack of printouts for the condo I'm trying to buy.<br /><br />hm... tokens... place to live... tokens... place to live... tokens....    eh.  my mom is still trying to get me to move back in with them after 12 years.... so maybe....  :nono:

Yeah, I thought of that, but I don't think my cat would appreciate living in the car.  (And I wouldn't appreciate having to be that close to the litter box all the time)

<br /><br />Be careful if you're trying to get a FULL SET of PLATS.  It cost me about $1750 and what seemed like nearly all my "good reds" in trades.<br /><br /><br />JKW<br />

sorry for not being around much folks. my computer troubles are still with me. but as a said earlier, i got the shirts in. i had lunch with a friend and gave him his shirt. we did some pictures, so hopefully they will pop up in here soon.<br /><br />the intent is to pass them out at indy and maybe try and get everyone together for a group picture (just an idea). if someone will not be at indy, other arrangements can be made.<br /><br />thank you everyone for bearing with me and say a prayer to the computer gods for me.  =|
