I am confused about the treasure pull token is that $3 for each pull or for all of them?

That is for each pull, it is just listed in one spot, because it is currently the same bid for all of them.

HI, everyone... I am thinking about adding this option to the auction.. I just wanted to get some opinions. You have the option of bidding on the condensed packs instead of the 120 token 10 packs... which includes the following

1 random 2017 Ultra Rare (There is a 20% chance an ADDITIONAL random Ultra Rare token will appear in your random Rare token bag.)
120 Random Rare tokens (10% of these will be platinum backed)
240 Random Uncommon tokens (10% of these will be platinum backed)
2x Potion of Distilled Healing (in place of 21 Selas Flower Common token)
1x Alchemist’s Ink
3x Alchemist’s Parchment
5x Darkwood Plank
7x Dwarven Steel
1x Enchanter’s Munitions
5x Minotaur Hide
7x Mystic Silk
4x Philosopher’s Stone
1,050 GP
Normal chance of a Golden Ticket

I would just add the 8 condensed packs to the bidding and whichever gets the highest bids on closing will be whats ordered. i.e say the condensed packs have the following bids for:

1 condensed pack $300
3 condensed packs $260 each
3 condensed packs $250 each
1 condensed pack $100

and there is a bid for all 960 token 10 packs at $2 each....
then the 7 condensed packs for $300, $260 and $250 would win and be ordered and 120 token 10 packs would win and be ordered......

Logistically, I think you run into trouble here, the URs are not sorted in with a condensed packs(or at least not always), they come in a separate bag with all of them for the order (at least sometimes).

The condensed packs ship in unsealed bags - there would be nothing to prevent you from moving the "extra" UR (if present), random URs of varying desirability, GP or other desirable tokens between bags, and no conceivable way of ensuring this kind of tampering didn't occur other than opening the boxes live in a room with people after somehow establishing chain of custody on the unopened boxes after they left TD.

Finally, if there is a Golden Ticket in the mix it may be shipped separately, confusing the issue as to which condensed pack it belongs in (as the GT takes a slot in a token 10-pack, if present).

That does sound like it could be an issue. I was wondering how the random PYP would come and the golden ticket as I haven't ever ordered a pack, much less a condensed pack. I thought it wouldn't be to hard to do after I read this from the condensed pack section on TD....:

*Golden Ticket: The chance to get a Golden Ticket will be the same exact chance you would have with a regular token purchase. The proper amount of Golden Tickets will be randomly placed among the “120 Rares” bag in all the Condensed packs. You will ALSO find that we have randomly added the “1 in 100” random Ultra Rare tokens inside these random “120 Rare” bag. On average, 1.2 additional Ultra Rare tokens will be added to your Rare bag, so most Rare bags will have 120 Rares inside plus 1 Ultra Rare as well. One out of five Rare bags will have two Ultra Rares. A very few will also have an additional token included—a Golden Ticket token. So, most Rare bags will have 121 tokens, 20% will have 122 tokens, and fewer will have 123 tokens.....

either way it seems like there would be a chance of "cherry picking" extra purples or even the golden ticket.....If they do get sent out with the other PYP, then I would have to randomly distribute them with the condensed pack orders. I started this bidding out at $209 because the lowest bid on the 10 packs is $1.75 for 120 which is $210. It does seem like quite a bit more work on my part, but I thought it may be more desirable to some individuals.

I think one of the stores that sells parts of 8k orders livestreams the unboxing and keeps a recording of it up for people to review.

I don't know that the system is perfect in protecting randomness, but it's something to consider.

The only obvious flaw I see is the possibility the seller could unbox, check the contents and swap things or reorder, then rebox in a manner that the box looks identical. Step 3 I assume would be difficult, but if there are people out there that can make fake tokens they can probably fake a flat rate box coming from Carbondale.

My suggestion is the people that bid the highest for the condensed packs get first pick of their UR of the random ones. Lower bidders get to pick from the leftovers.

I do like this idea, however I was hoping to not look inside (if at all possible) the rare bags for the condensed packs. I would like to hear some more thoughts on this idea.

ANY form of preferential treatment in bidders and all of my bids are out.

The idea of even allowing condensed packs is bad IMO but at least you can have Jeff zip tie them closed so they are fair. If they are opened there's no trusting anything
