I was thinking that but wasn't sure if the colors were still moving or not

Yes, the colors are still shifting...

When you press the buttons along the red line in sequence you feel first one push in, the second one does not depress as easily but eventually it does yet feels warm to the touch, the last button gets very hot to the touch blistering your finger and does not seem to move at all.

What do you do next? Or, if the bids reach $85 you will receive a clue.

Current bid = Kray @ $76 -- $9 to go to receive a clue

Do they buttons reset? If so, I'll press the 1sr on the 1st row, 2nd on the 2nd, 3rd on the 3rd...and prepare to swig a healing potion

The 1st button does not reset. The second one she pushed seemed to reset slowly over time. The 3rd button she pressed never went in.

As you press the 1st button it pushes in just fine. As you press the second button you hear a sizzle as you begin to feel some minor pain in your finger and the tip begins to smoke slightly as if you dipped it in acid, You are nervous to press the 3rd button but figure...heck, why not? As you do your finger begins to necrose and turn black. Debilitating pain contorts your hand and you cry out and grab it. As before, the 1st button stays pushed in, the 2nd slowly pushes back out and the 3rd does not change. You drink your healing potion and roll 4's on your 2d4+2 so your hand returns to normal function, albeit a bit black and blue and tender to the touch.

Generosity abouts and thus this is what you hear the voice say next as you have earned a clue:

“A treasure you’ve found
For efforts profound
Use it to see
The right number to free”

What do you do?

Good thing I have healing. I'm taking a beating on these...but still standing (sorta). Do we actually hold the Ioun stone? If so, I look through it to see the keypad

Hmm, This is a bit of a shot in the dark but lets attempt to push on the upper right corner and then the center square and then we can laugh as I writhe in pain if I'm wrong.

If the next try fails and isn't clear what to do, here's my attempt:

Upper Left, Upper Middle, Upper Right, Middle Middle, Lower Right, Lower Middle, Lower Left.

after we see what's up with this round of pressing, I'd like to suggest (not DO, let's talk first before something blows up!) this pattern:

.. 1
.. 2
.. 3
I write D&D things!
