TOPIC: TD Tickets at GenCon

I always load my cart with around fifty TD runs, non-overlapping, and try to hit it the split second it opens. I often have a friend or two trying also. I'm usually able to get a few full runs.

Wait - VIG? I didn't think we got to get tickets early for GenCon VIG - I thought it was just the housing block, the VIG room, plus some swag. Fill me in if you can. Thanks!

If you get a queue number less than 4K you are doing very good.

Two years ago, I got a number so low it didn't even show (maybe even 1.) I clicked submit and it was immediately in the cart for checkout and done. Unreal. I doubt I'll ever get that lucky again. My son got 200 once so I know 200 or higher you see a number for the queue. Normally, I'm 1000+ (worst was 6,000.)

Yeah, that happened to me last year when of course TD wasn't there.

You are correct. VIG does not get early event access. In the past TDA has allocated 1 run of each dungeon as VIG only, with the limit that you can only get two tickets per person (VIG + Companion). That's the only concession for True Dungeon that VIGs get at Gen Con.
