TOPIC: Completion token list

I'm been keeping a list of Completion tokens, and where/when they originated, and I think I've gone as far as I can go. Here's what I have so far.

Here's the list from 2006-2009. I've used some excellent resources found on this site to get this far, but I need help to get a clearer (or a correct) picture.



And these are completion tokens since 2010. They seemed a little easier since the uncommon/rare divisions put them neatly into "tiers" - one for normal and one for hardcore. As you can see, there are a few cases where I'm still unsure.

Also, I'm having a bit of trouble with the colspans on the entries for True Grind, TrueCraft, etc. The token listed is meant to span both columns.

That 2016 Pants of Retrieval is the Onyx one, correct?

Yeah, I've got an Onyx one. I think it might only be available with that back.

So, the brawler's horn was for all runs at GHC 2017

I think the underduck and the sling bullet of gazebo slaying may have been from WYC rather than GenCon.

Thanks, I've updated those to WYC. I've left ??? for the Module since I'm unsure which ones were run at GHC 2017 and WYC 2015 and 2016.

Brawlers horn was a reward even for normal runs?

If I recall correctly, it was the completion token for every run. You got one for each run, whether it was normal, hardcore, or nightmare.

I log all my runs (although not the completion tokens), so maybe this will help:

WYC 2016 module was called Deeperdark Redux. There was also a grind but I don't have the name of it.
GHC 2016 modules were Deeperdark Redux (again) and The Underdark Awaits.
GHC 2017 were Dancing Among Stones, The Moongate Maze, and True Grind: Faction War.
GHC 2018 has no grind scheduled (sadly).

Hmm, then Crown of Allure's source is truly a mystery - at least to me!

Given the usual pattern of completion tokens, I have a suspicion that it was originally intended to be paired up with the Hat of Muffling. It may have been intended for Viper Pit before Jeff finalized that it would be sealed pack. Or maybe both were intended to be used on a different run and only Salve of Sacrifice was originally planned for Viper's Pit (it is strange that two different tokens were used for that completion).

But, that's just a guess.

Underduck was WYC only but were seeded in the treasure box at Gen Con that year.

Brawlers horn you got no matter what run you did at GHC that year,

Updated to show additional detail for WYC and GHC 2016, and even less certainty for the Crown of Allure.

I think you might be on to something, Fiddy, about the Crown.
