TOPIC: LF6M Grind Friday 3pm

TL;DR: just come help me kill Eric's monsters.


So, you've been playing True Dungeon for a few years, have started building up your tokens, and have been wondering what this "True Grind" thing is?

Now is your chance to try it out with others in a similar situation, with a bit of guidance from someone who has tested and often survives the Grind at all difficulty levels.

What I'm looking for is players that have gotten to the point where they are running Hardcore (or Nightmare) in the Dungeon, mostly survive, and are looking for a slightly different challenge.

Slot 1 - Fiddy - flexible on class, but probably Cleric
Slot 2 - Jim - Monk (pd)
Slot 3 - binia - Ranger preferred (pd+tr)
Slot 4 - Tom - Druid / maybe Bard (pd+tr)

Slot 6 - kurtreznor
Slot 7 - Adeya

Given the lack of responses so far, I've decided to switch from looking for experienced Grind players to looking for those that haven't tried Grind yet (but who have decent amount of experience in the Dungeon).

I'd love a spot. Have a hardcore/nightmare ready druid, but would play whatever is needed. Plus runs with Fiddy are always fun!

Jim was also interested in Druid, so if Tom is up for expanding his Bard repertoire, that would be appreciated.

I'm totally up for rock/paper/scissors to decide who plays the druid. Or I could just play a wizard and be happy with that too.

Just checking in on this run. Are we likely to end up running with just 4? If so, we should think about how best to cover Eric’s craziness. Fiddy, can your cleric do some decent damage if needed? Should we make Tom another DPS character? We can put together a decent fighter type with a Templar set and the new +3 Hammer...

And digging through my paypal history, it looks like I’ve never paid you, Fiddy. Want me to remedy that oversight?

Jim is hoping to talk some friends into joining us, so we will see how many we wind up with. Hopefully we'll have more than just the four of us.

I can do decent melee damage with my Cleric, but he's pretty useless with ranged attacks (surprise!). I'll have a stack of this year's uncommon wands that should help a bit.
