I have 4 tickets wondering if any other have tickets for this run?

Dwarf Fighter - Ralph
Rogue - Chris
Paladin - Brad
Fighter - Friend of Brad
Barbarian - Friend of Brad
Wizard - Friend of Brad
Ranger - Michael S.
Monk - Joe

We have 5 of the tickets for this run. I typically play paladin. We have another guy who likes to play ranger, then 3 undecided. How firm are your players in their choice of class? Hoping to run Hardcore. I'm certain it will be a blast!

Nice to meet you and your crew. So it looks like we will have one Pick Up player.
As for the classes noted, we are geared heavily for them, so pretty firm in class choices.
As for Hardcore, I have been banned by my team mates from choosing Hardcore (despite the fact that they got rid of the treasure rooms), still, you might better luck persuading them at the table than I do.
I can personally attest we are token geared for Hardcore, it's the do or die mentality that doesn't sit well with them.
Lastly, a fair warning, one of our group really likes to role play the cleric (like, he will take puzzle/push damage rather than break his role as a LG cleric of Pelor - last 2 years ago when when dealing with the near nude Felurian of the Moongate Maze adventure, he flat out refused to offer her anything as she was not worthy of Pelor's gifts, he paid for it with damage, but he enjoyed the event none the less).

Sounds good. We are all D&D guys, so we love the RP aspect. 2 of us are definitely HC ready. I can heal a ton too. We survived 2 HC runs at GC last year and would hope to do so again! But it sounds like a great group! Looking forward to it. We can possibly have our other 2 guys go Fighter and Barbarian or maybe wizard perhaps. But would want to discuss it with them of course.

Hello all! I just purchased the last ticket for this run and wanted to reach out. I am totally green to TD, but have done some initial homework and will be doing more as we get closer to the convention date so I’m not too much of a drag on the group. I’m also absolutely fine with whatever class the group needs and thinks a noob like me would be able to handle. I play D&D so not totally unfamiliar with the elements that overlap. Great to “meet” all of you and looking forward to a fun first TD experience!

Hey Joe, Welcome aboard! We'll have a great time, no doubt. We share our knowledge of TD if you'd like, and assist with tokens perhaps during the game.

Welcome, there are still quite a few classes to pick from, but without knowing your strengths its hard to make a recommendation, but it sounds like you already doing your homework. Do you have an idea for a class already?

As I don't sense sarcasm well, I am going to assume you are being serious.
If that is the intent we will need to do that at GenCon, I will make sure the party card I prep includes an alternate for our ranger. I suggest you do the same for yours, assuming the player is already 3rd level or higher.

Seeing what is left, the monk class looks fun... I’ll go with that. I would LOVE some TD knowledge dropped on me! And any token help will be much appreciated. Thanks again!

Yes, they are > 3rd. 6th lvl I think? 4th year at GC for them.

Yep, our ranger is 7th and this will be his 12th year at GC. I will prep the Dwarf Fighter as his Alt. Should be interesting to see where the dice fall at the convention as I haven't seen this happen before.
