YES

Probably be a swap immediately but if they happen to need to grab one from the storage you'll slow shit down if you don't have the form.

Do I need seven separate Ziploc bags with exact change in every one?

Please make one bag for each token you wish to get back. To use your example, please submit one bag with 5k GP in it and six separate bags with 1k each. It's easier for us to keep track of them that way.

David Zych wrote: truedungeon.com/reserve-token-redemption says "please make sure the total GP value of all the tokens you’re submitting is evenly divisible by 1,000" (emphasis mine)

There are still players from the "old days" that 1) may still have very small denomination GP tokens and 2) remember a time when we had 250 GP , 500 GP , and
2,500 GP Reserve bars. That comment is primarily for them.

If anyone has a bunch or 5GP or less to trade in. Please find me. i am saving them all for a big transmute in the future. If I could only find 25,000 1GP tokens

How about the old copper and silver coins? :)

always check with smak first. Then come to me

thank you, laz. i would be happy to take your loose gp as well.

If I need like 50+ of a particular trade item. could that be accomodated, or should I be kind to others and ship that in? (there's an IOU card, but likely I could have enough tokens in the buckets for that much in actual trade as well.)

If you don't need it at the con just ship that fucking transmute.

This year will be 3-5 times WORSE than any previous year for transmutes.

IF YOU DO NOT NEED THE TOKENS AT GHC SHIP THE TRANSMUTE, DO NOT FORCE UNNECESSARY TRANSMUTES ON SITE

Buckets seems excessive. If you need 50 + done to finish a legendary, while the timing might be poor bring it in. I suspect you will get pre-empted in line so it may take a bit, unless everyone is bringing in excess like this. If everyone abuses the transmute room, we likely won’t get all our transmutes done over the weekend.

You may also work out a deal with someone on-site that has interest in helping you, such a large transaction I would guess there might be gold or $ to make the help more helpful.

I'm anticipating HUGE numbers of tokens being exchanged. It's been two years since we had in-person token exchanges and there are a lot of folks who because reasons don't do exchanges by mail.

To all the folks who have prepared large numbers of tokens to be exchanged: perhaps consider exchanging a portion of them at GHC and mail the rest in?

In addition, I'm anticipating a long line of folks waiting outside the door before we open on Thursday morning. If you don't need your tokens to be exchanged immediately, please consider allowing the folks who do need their tokens exchanged right away (e.g., for an early run) to have a chance to get theirs done before you drop off a "pallet" of tokens that you don't need to be converted immediately.
To be clear, I'm NOT suggesting you drop off a "pallet" of tokens Saturday night. I'm only saying maybe don't drop them off first thing Thursday morning.

Friendly Reminder: The first post in this thread has a list of things you can do to expedite your token exchange process. If getting your tokens converted quickly and accurately is important to you, I highly recommend following those suggestions--yes, they are mostly suggestions, not requirements.
Have you looked it up in the TDb?
Please post TDb corrections in this thread .
If I write something in teal, it should not be taken seriously.
Can we all please keep Hanlon's Razor in mind before making a comment?

The language is not needed.
Second off that can cost a lot of money. I would
Rather spend that on more runs or tokens

People don’t trust the post office. I hate when
I have to trust them. Even insurance doesn’t cover it. If the post office says it was delivered

No the worst year was when we went from gold back to chocolate back tokens. Nothing will touch that

I don’t want anyone to worry about the transmutes getting done. If I have to work all night Saturday night to get them done they will be.

In 2014or 2015. Dave and myself at WYC worked 10am to 3 am those days. We got it all
Done. Everyone just relax. Take a deep
Breath and Relax. Some of us have not seen each other in 2 years. Have fun. Like Opie in SoNs of Anarchy said. “ I
Got this”

Log term request. Have a dynamic version of the forms (similar to how it does it when you order). So we don't have to print 4 pages of stuff when we are transmuting 1 thing. 1 Order Form Page 1 to Put my name number and mark the 1 token. 2 Order Form Page 2 to sign. 3 Token Recipe Page. 4. The Ziplock Bag Label page. Granted it might not have all fit on 1 page, but certainly could have fit on 2 pages easily. Also anyone making multiple of anything would be able to have the right number of Labels vs printing the same page multiple times for possibly just 1 label. Just a thought.
You either discover a star or you don't. You arrogant punk.
