TOPIC: Incognito Got a Bunch of Grind Tickets Available

I was like 5200 via the Wish List and didn't get anything worthwhile during my first run through Event Reg.

However, between 1:30 EST and 2:30 EST, I managed to pick up a bunch of Grind tickets (34 in fact!) my repeatedly searching for Grind openings.

Since I run Grind, obviously I won't be using them myself.

The DDA (Dungeon Delvers Anonymous) will want a small fraction of them, but I will make the rest of them available to forumites.

The main reason I am doing this is because I think the current ticketing system is a bit inefficient for TD. It is too easy for someone to hoard multiple runs and the distribution is often haphazard. Hopefully people won't see this as a conflict of interest. I see it as trying to improve efficiency and fairness, since I am a relatively objective (in that I won't be playing myself) third-party arbiter!

* Priority goes to those who were not able to get any Grind tickets, and also to those who have other tickets in the slot and want to complete their "set". Slight preference to TD volunteers (let me know if you are one!)


Okay, here is what I managed to get in my cart and purchased. (Reminder once again that I got all these well into event registration, b/w 1:30 and 2:30 EST, so anyone vigilant could have gotten these too! I did NOT have any special access to them.):


Still waiting to hear exactly what DDA wants. I have asked them to finalize what they want by Tuesday at Noon.

I guess I'm curious as to why you are buying Grind tickets? Aren't you the DM in all of them? Or are these for friends?

Yes, for friends.

I can't actually play/run myself, but:

1. I am part of the DDA and many of them want to do Grind (though none of them were able to get tickets)

2. I have some friends who are casual TD'ers and it might be nice for them to do a Grind so they know what I am doing all Con

Actually I just ended up purchasing everything in my cart, which is a lot of tickets, but I actually didn't get anything until around 1:30 PM EST.

I didn't get any grind tickets, if you have 2 for:

Thursday or Friday at noon or 1:30, or Sunday at 9 AM I'll take them.

If you picked up any for Sat @ 3:00, I have 8 and would like all 10. Can swap a couple I picked up for Friday @ 3:00 for them.

Update to my PM from earlier in the afternoon.

I would just be looking for a single ticket, and this would be my first time playing True Grind in any year. Now that you have listed more times, I could be available for any of the following times:
Thursday 7 PM, any of the Friday slots, or Sat 1:30 (though this specific one would be tight since I have a 3:12pm slot).

So you got all the saturday at 8:30 pm.

Hi, I'm interested in 2 tickets for thurs 7:00pm. Neither of us have grind tickets, or have ever done a grind. Fairly flexible in times if that time doesn't work out. Preference is to do normal difficulty. Could do higher difficulty with support of a good team.
