Personally Im ok with it as I suspect such spoilers would only effect the relitivly small hardcore portion of the gencon playerbase that also attends wyc and reads the forms. Im also ok with old bits too though, the variance of fleece draws would also probably make me hold my draws if that was an option again.

I'd prefer to avoid spoilers.

There's a fine line between a spoiler and a teaser. There are already a lot in the marketing materials and t-shirts, and even the names of the dungeons. ("Lycans Afoot" and "Behold Her Glory" spring to mind.) It's probably not a big deal either way. But it flies in the face of tradition.

And, it's also probably too late to do that this year.

Why not just use the previous year's monster bits (only one year back, so the specific bits are still being used as ingredients)? Avoids altering treasure box ratio and spoilers, without monster bit pulls losing value.

However, this year might draw criticism from people who bought or sold monster bits after gencon. Personally, I would be fine with it, even this year.

It depends on what Jeff wants to accomplish.

If long lines at GenCon are an issue, then it sounds like Golden Fleece at WYC aren't likely to fix it. Experienced folks with the most draws sound inclined to wait for GenCon, making the problem worse.

I don't think 2015 trophies are seeing the same mark-up as, say, 2013... so I don't feel like it would be the maelstrom of malcontent it would have been back then. But it would be a last-minute change, so the polite thing to do would be to ask.

The lines at GenCon are variable in my experience. Now that you don't have to draw in the epilogue room, you can wait a bit and find a short line.

We will be using left over treasure stock from Gen Con 2015 for WYC 2016 to avoid any monster bit spoilers at WYC for the upcoming Gen Con 2016. That way no 2016 Gen Con monster bits will be showing up in the treasure at WYC.

I'm sure someone will complain about it... but not me. I probably won't turn in all my chips at WYC, but I'm not going to save them all for GenCon, either.

Sounds good to me, and I suggest sticking with that for future WYC and Gamehole Con for consistency. GenCon premiers the new treasure mix and trophies each year.

Since Game hole Can is post Gen Con using 2016 tokens there makes sense of it not 2015.

When would be the last time to send an order in for transmute and to purchase more tokens to arrive before WYC? Or can I just make the purchase at WYC?
