I like the troll idea (especially if there is somekind of troll face pin XD) Id also advocate for it to be for the entire con though as I think that would get more specials turned in.

Maybe Chad isn't alone in that. According to my XP chart, in 2009 the last room I made it to in one Dungeon was Room 0. ;)

That may depend on how the change to the season timing gets interpreted in regards to the GT benefits. It feels odd to say that GT benefits don't work at Origins, as the intent (my understanding) seemed to be to benefit from the effects until right before the next GT runs, which wouldn't be until GenCon.

I'll be quite annoyed if that is so. One of my motivations for Origins is to get one last use from my GT bonus.

From everything I have heard and read, the TD year still starts at Gencon. The 2018-2019 variable effects start at Gencon, and I believe Jeff already answered the question about the RoSP voucher being good through Origins and a new year starts at Gencon. The N1 dungeon is presented at Origins for the Patron players. Otherwise Origins is the last con for the 2017-2018 year.

The N1 dungeon is for all players, though patron and AG players have first chance to buy tickets.

Into the Shadowlands is patron only, I believe.

You guys are all far more senior than I am, and have probably weathered similar storms before, so I claim no authority at all . . . but . . .

The Upcoming Events Page LITERALLY says, explicitly, that Origins starts the 2018-2019 season.
I don't have any tokens that have an annual effect, so this does not change anything *I* do, and I don't have horse in this race. But why would Jeff and the team SPECIFICALLY include that language if not to change the start of the token season?

Hopefully, the powers that be can get you guys some clarification in the next few weeks.

That's a recent change. Up until about a week ago, that page said it starts at Gen Con.
Have you looked it up in the TDb ?

If the season starts at Origins I would suggest aligning all year long effects to the season when feasible (variable and RoSP). For the GT I would just suggest classifying them as 1 year (when Jeff deems so).
