Generally the people on the list have helped or done something good for me. Sometimes they may have just posted something very positive that I feel is deserving of good karma. Or they may have done something good for the community. Some people just get a point for being some of the first to let me take their photos for my "True Portraits of TD" photo project

Thank you to the people on my list, and to the other Fourmites

Special Thanks always goes out to Jeff, Lori, and the TD Volunteers. Without them we would not have this awesome game to play.

Random notes:
If anyone feels like posting their own Karma lists in this thread,
PLEASE ONLY POST ABOUT POSITIVE KARMA,
thank you.

To new players, if you get a chance I recommend joining runs with the cool people on the Karma list :)

I've had my list going for a while, but thought I'd wait till just before GenCon, to give the most exposure to saying thanks. And make it visible to new players. I'll also update the list after GenCon.

The Upworks forum actually had a Karma system built in, That was cool. But since this forum had the issue with lost threads, I'm guessing Jeff would be leery about upgrading the version of Kunena that's running our forum.

Was also inspired by Druegar's cookies.

I would give +1 Karma to the following:

Raven, as she is always great to trade with and will go out of her way to help new players.

Smakdown, ditto on the trading, and is a very generous human.

Incognito, trading again, and for all of the work he puts into True Grind.

Valetutto, because of Plinko :)

Lazlo, for helping me out when a trade with another player went awry. Not something that he had to do, but did anyway.

My Karma would be:

Gary Ashwen (spelling) - second run with me and my sons after a horrible first run with veterans players (names shall remain protected). We tried to sell our tickets but Gary said he is on the run with us and was fantastic. Thanks Gary!

Smakdown - well just a all around great guy!

Lazlo - even though he doesn't trust us military guys we still love em!

Joe and the group from Wisconsin - they are not active on the forums but he is the one that got me into the trading and transmuting side of TD.

Druegar - For being Druegar!

Amorgen - well for being Amorgen!

Kubu - Great trading partner

Grellden - taking the risk, which really wasn't a risk, in taking payments from me for a RoSP.

Brad Mortensen - someone to chat with on the forums and being level headed. :)

While I may not agree that we should only announce good karma, I will give it a try...

I only knew a very, very few of you before WYC this year, the ones I met there did have a positive impact on me. I have been in many, many groups in my life and in almost every other one there is an established hierarchy with the established elite looking down on the noobs and anyone not in their elite circle. SCA was probably the worst about this.

I had met Lazlo at GenCon last year and I offered to buy an UR near the end of the convention. He suggested I wait until the off-season when I could get it cheaper. For that I give him a +1.

So I show-up at WYC as a volunteer. I had no idea what I was in for. The convention staff pointed me in the TD direction and when I get there I ran into the people doing the set-up. I really wish I could remember the name of the guy I was asked to assist. He is one of Jeff's friends. I don't think he plays TD, but he helps with the behind-the-scenes stuff. I would give him and Troy +3's.

Jeff, Lori, Drake, and "Averon" were all great and treated me with great respect. For that I would give them all +5!

Fellow volunteers -- Brad & Shelly Mortensen get +3's just for being such cool and nice people. The world needs more like them!

Ian, Dennis, and the other volunteers at WYC all get a +1 for working well as a team with no whining or complaints.

I give Raven a +2 for telling me I did a good job on the demo. I didn't realize anyone was even paying attention. Little compliments can go a long way.

I want to give Incognito a -1 for treating everyone like meat for his grinder, but instead I will give him a +2 for doing his job correctly and treating us all like meat in his grinder!

I will give myself a -1 for my actions in the training room during my run. I volunteered right up until my run. We had decided on classes on the forum, but when I showed up, somebody else wanted to play rogue. Since I was volunteering all day I had only brought my rogue tokens, so he let me play the rogue. In the training room we were practicing the slides and I was going last. Jeff had helped me transmute while volunteering so I had my brand new +3 Viper Strike fang. I was sliding last. Immediately after my last slide the other guy who wanted to play rogue, but was instead playing ranger reached-out, grabbed the slider I just slid and another and stated those were his. I freaked out, walked over and grabbed the slider I just slid from his hand. It was a +3 Viper Strike fang. We had a few second stand-off, then JediCP held my +3 Viper Strike fang in front of me. I guess he had slid my slider and I had slid his. I felt really bad the entire run for over-reacting.

Sorry for the long post.

I suck at names so this is just for those that in the past when I was poor making sure I was able to go, fed me, and even made sure I had a couple goodies to take home.

More so those that helped me out other times during the year when I needed it.

Even more to those who know how bad it's getting and offering some kind of support.

Now to duck out before someone puts me on some list...my ninja skills have kept me out of pics and lists so far :)

Also +1 to Druegar, as he has cookies :)
