TOPIC: Browsing Recent Topics

So, I have my favorites set so that when I come to the Truedungson website, it takes me straight to Recent Topics. From there I open those that interest me and have new posts.

That's all well and fine, but I've noticed a change in the last few days and I'm wondering if it's just me. What's the change? Well, when I open a post and read new comments and then click on Recent Topics to go back to that page, it now takes me to page 2. If I click on it again, it takes me to page 3. It never did that before. It would always take me back to page 1.

It's entirely possible that it's just me? This doesn't happen to me through my phone, just on my laptop. I think there was a firmware update to my laptop a few days ago, so I'm wondering if that messed up some setting somewhere. It's a minor nuisance, but I'd prefer to get it back to where it was.

I have noticed I keep ending up on page 2 of favorites, although I couldn’t quite figure out why.

The only thing/glitch i've noticed is i need to remember to click page 1 before i leave/close the browser tab. Otherwise next time i click Recent Topics it'll take me to whatever page i was last on (usually 2 or 3). Been that way for years for me.

I have also observed that I sometimes go to page 2 or 3 or Recent Topics when I click the tab on a desktop browser. It works as expected on mobile, and it works if I manually go to page 1 and use refresh instead of the Recent Topics tab.

Been doing the same to me. I also click on Page 1 of the recent topics before leaving the page (because of this issue in the past) and it still drops me on page 2.

Glad it wasn't just me. It seems to be happening more from my phone than the full site..

I think it's always worked like that for me when using the forums this year. The Recent Topics link takes me to whatever page of Recent Topics I was on last. I haven't paid particular attention to whether it works that way every single time I click, but it definitely happens consistently enough for me to view it as normal.

With as often as I check the site (is it possible to come here too often?), I'm certain it was not always this way.

I guess I'm sort of glad it's not just me.
