Heh.  I wondered about doing that with the Dwarven Rations.  You never know, some of those monsters may simply be hungry!

After much thought (and realizing that the Bracers of Archery and Bracers of Defense were 2006 tokens), I'd ask that the Bracers of Archery and Bracers of Defense tokens be brought back in about 2009.<br /><br />People seem to want choices - or to force players to make choices.<br /><br />How about Boots of Dexterity for a UR?    Hm..boots of dex or boots of free action?<br /><br />

My 2008 combo token Idea<br /><br />Class specific combo tokens<br /><br />Recipe:<br /><br />-500 GP in gems only <br />-Three +1 weapons <br />-Four different Ingredients (any year)<br />-One platinum rare token<br /><br />Players recevie one random class specific token.<br /><br />Monks Belt: One additional use of stunning attack per encounter/ +1 saves/ +2 damage when using Flurry of Blows. Usable only by Monk<br /><br />Amulet of Harmony: Party gains +1 to saves while using bardic music/ bards instrument gains 1/2/2/3/3/5 Damage Track. Usable only by Bard<br /><br />Gloves of Throwing: Equipped melee weapon may be used as a Thrown weapon. Weapon returns the next round. First round of combat only. / +2 damage with thrown weapons. Usable only by Barbarian<br /><br />Goggles of the War mage: Automatically recall 1 plane of existence, usable once per adventure/ automatically hit with Melfs acid arrow or Scorching Ray usable once per adventure/+1 hit & damage when using Melfs acid arrow or scorching ray. Usable only by Wizard<br /><br />Cloaks of Camaraderie (two tokens): When equipped by a cleric and one other party member the other party member along with this character split all damage taken by the other party member (round up)/ +1 pts to healing spells cast on other party members. <br /><br />only a few of them sound bad (ie. too powerful), and that is mostly because they dont take a current item slot...well, the ring is still insane, but other than that.  most of them seemed like just another option for an item slot specific to one class.  and as a devoted ranger, i can say that the bracers of ambidexterity would be horrible; i MIGHT give up the +1 AC to gain a small increase in my off-hand damage, but i would never make that trade if i also take a -2 to hit with both weapons...heck, i wouldnt even use this if it didnt take a current item slot because of the -2 to hit.

I mean to come back and leave feedback but forgot.  Here I am again, but I'm just posting a thought or two myself.  I'll leave comments shortly (I hope).<br /><br />Due to a recent thread:  <br />Purple Group Horn of Plenty:  must be worn entire adventure.  Only one allowed per party.  When worn, allows all party members a 2nd draw from Reward boxes.<br /><br />If this is too powerful, it can be counterbalanced by saying that, if worn, all other party members cannot wear any amulets (or at least not the Amulet of Thorns).  <br /><br />Thanks you Binia, Mike, and especially DirtDazzy for this thought.

You could even make it an Amulet of Greed.<br />Must be worn for entire adventure, but can be handed off if death occurs.<br />Everyone in the party gets 2 extra tokens from Reward boxes.<br />No one else in the party can wear any amulets.<br />All party members suffer a penalty of some sort, such as -2 to AC and/or -2 to hit.  What's your greed worth?  <br /><br />Just tossing out ideas.  I really don't expect a 2nd HoP, even if it's a group one.<br /><br /><br />Time to switch back to "regular" magic items and non-magical items.<br /><br /><br />

Doesn't that group HoP totally kill the existing HoP?  If a group has 4 regular HoP they are better off using them, except from the standpoint that 4 people instead of just 1 are less 1 point of AC.<br /><br />I think the HoP just needs to go away.  Don't ban it or limit how many a group can have...just stop making it.<br /><br />Will it become the Black Lotus of the game - maybe...but that is pretty cool in my opinion.  This is the first UR token I've wanted to have and keep more than one of.<br /><br />
