TOPIC: Lore tokens

I have a question. Are folks collecting these? Or are they a heavy heap in the token collection?<br />I never got a full set, and thought it might be fun to use them in a standard D&D as unknown magic items or rumors.<br /><br />I didn't know if they would have value in the game later on, but thought it might be cool to collect a few more.<br />Are there lots of extras out there?

<br /><br />Lots and lots of extras.  I have two full sets and as many as a dozen extras of specific Lores.

While the Lore Program took Rumors and what not to a totally different and higher level...I think the collect-ability and ability to use them more than once was not a WIN.  The Rumor Tokens of old at least had the use multi-year thing going for them...so folks might want them past the year they are made...<br /><br />

I have to agree. The lore concept is fine and many people really love it, but I prefer not to see such a large percentage of the token crop sucked up by stuff that few people value as a token. I think there are better ways to do it. 

It is a shame that promises were made that the tokens would have no value, or they could be made to have a Trade Item Token, or be made ingredients for combo tokens, or something.  It is a shame that 10% of the Tokens from last year are totally worthless now. 

...and what of the old Rumor tokens. What are they good for?

<br /><br />I'll bet that Rumors will make a return in a future dungeon. 

Maybe a lore token could be turned in for a rumor for this years dungeon. Not much, but something.
