Am I misremembering in that I thought the Charm of Heroism was supposed to be an always active recipe? I believed that was the point for all the might items to be on constant rotation so that new people could pick things up at any point and still make the charm in a few years just by sticking around. I'm not seeing it on the transmute page for some reason.

Charm of Avarice is the only forever non-legendary recipe, as far as I know.

Anyone else remember what the deal was? It was never supposed to be set up to always hang around with the rotating might or something changed along the way?

I don't recall seeing anything about the Charm being timeless. I thought the intent behind the reprints was just that people would be able to pick up pieces of the Might set so that they could gain 5th level from the set bonus.

From everything I remember it was going to be a rotating recipe. Meaning Jeff would have this recipe pop up every so often for people to transmute.
You don't have to outrun the monster, just the guy next to you - The buddy system.

It's better to have it a permanent recipe than a rotating one. Since the might items are already cycling...there's no way to tell when someone will jump in after all. They're already waiting up to 4 years to get all the might as PyPs, there's no reason they should also have to wait for the recipe to come around again too.

Ah yes. The might items were going to be around so people could get three to level up. At the time many of us assumed that the charm would stick around as well but that didn't end up being the case. That could change.

I do think that at the start the Charm was planned to be "timeless" in some manner (the original recipe called for all the monster ingredients from any 3 consecutive years starting in 2013), but that changed by the time the final version was done.

Worth mentioning the might set is being cycles through again though.

There is some other multi piece UR set going to be printed instead?

I thought the design was that any player could purchase mostly active tokens to hit level 5 at any point
