TOPIC: Transmuting at GenCon?

Well this will be the first time I'll be transmuting anything and I was wondering if this will be available at GenCon this year to avoid the shipping cost of a few thousand tokens.

Is there some sort of area in the storyscape that this happens? Is it a drop-off and pick-up type scenario?

Typically, you can only transmute for the "good stuff." If you have thousands of tokens, then probably no. They are seldom prepared to handle the making of trade tokens, so you're better off shipping away for all your inks and planks and whatnot.

The answers to your other questions is "yes," but if the line is short and your order small you can sometimes get your stuff while you wait.

That's good to know. Would have hated to lug all that stuff to Indy only to find out I would have to ship it anyway.

Not sure how I missed that. Thanks. And since we can't transmute the Ring of Heroism this year at Gen Con I guess there is no rush to get this done.

Are there hours listed somewhere yet for transmutes at GenCon? I hope to get a Icecrag earcuff if I can catch a transmute time.

the Icecrag Earcuff and the Ring of Heroism will not be transmutable at GenCon. Everyone will have to mail in their tokens to get these or wait until next GenCon.
