Instead of being called Ultra Rare, the rarity term for the purple-titled, light-green-backed free token you get with every $1,000 token purchase is now called Premium . E.g., Cavadar teeth. Ro7P Segments, even though they all have gold backs, will be included in this term since the principle of their distribution was the same.

The black-titled, dark-green-backed Transmuted tokens whose primary ingredients are Premium tokens are now called Grand Eldritch . Grand Eldritch tokens do not have a 5-point star icon.

The black-titled, dark-green-backed, and 5-point-star-adorned Transmuted tokens whose primary ingredients are four Ultra Rare tokens (and to date, themed to the four classical elements) are still called Eldritch Relics . This isn't a change, I'm just including it here for clarity.

Druegar,

That all sounds good. Am I correct in assuming that the Grand Eldritch tokens and the Eldritch Relic tokens count equally towards the Eldritch Set bonuses?

Thanks,
Mike

Hi Druegar,

When you said with every $250, did you actually mean to type/say $1K? Thanks for clarifying.

Will the TD Website and TD Database be updated to show this? I was jsut getting used to the current descriptions, now I got to figure it all out again. Ug.

Just curious, why the change?

I am interested to see what the next Relic token is that has four UR's as the primary ingredients, and what the next "Grand" token is after Cavadar (if of course there are further transmuted tokens in those series). I'm guessing they won't be Eldritch. We might find out about the 4 UR transmuted token in next year's set, since the Boots have now wrapped up.

I hope we take a break from those; at least until cavadar finishes and maybe a new big set starts up.
this is not a signature.

Same here. Besides, we need transmutes to use our abundance of trade tokens on. :woohoo:

So in summary:
  • The Completed Rod of Seven Parts is a Grand Eldritch item made from the 7 Premium tokens.
  • The Supreme Ring of Elemental Command is an Eldritch Relic made from the 4 Ultra Rare tokens.
  • The Boots of the Four Winds is also an Eldritch Relic made from the 4 previous Ultra Rare boots.
  • The yet to be named Cavadar Tooth combined will be a Grand Eldritch item.
If that is correct I predict future power differences on the horizon between Grand Eldritch and Eldritch Relics...

I'm hoping that will not be the case.
