TOPIC: Question for 8k auctioneers

I am going to be doing an 8k order for 2022 tokens and selling/auctioning a bunch of it, but I am still undecided on whether I want to do condensed or ultra-condensed.
What have other sellers found to be the good and bad between these two options?

I suspect that ultra-condensed will make more money toward the total 8k order, but the regular condensed would let me keep a bag of rares and uncommons. How big of a difference have you noticed on these/how do you handle things?

Ultra-condensed will get you more. The bags of rares and uncommons go for less than what the trade good equivalent go for.

And the extra weight and work is an incredible pain.

I would consider doing the auction, then buying what you want for yourself.

Very good question and one I’m thinking about as well coming into the new year. First time going through the preorder process and interested to see how it all plays out. Thinking about doing some condensed and regular for the first go around as would like to get some of the new tokens for the collection and then sell/auction off some of the premium items. But not 100% sure as of yet…

I plan to do my orders as standard condensed. There's about 8 or 10 rares I like in this set and I'll be pulling those, doing a transmute of the rest.

It's a bit time consuming but I can transmute the remaining items and sell the resulting components after. it costs a bit more time and processing but I also enjoy the sorting and finding my random ultra rares.

Financially and time wise you are far better off to super condense.

Ok, ultra condensed it is. Another question (and secondary follow-up):

How much less do you expect some of the less desirable onyx URs to auction for?
Since I am wanting the chaos cannon and full Deadshot set (plus at least one of half the URs), I figured the full onyx set is probably worth it for me auctioning off the rest...unless the weakest 5 URs go super cheap and drag the average way down.

Also, if I do get the onyx set, for the URs I want (but don't care if onyx or gold), should I have one of the lines be 'PYP or onyx chaos cannon', with that line being minimum the current PYP bids, but someone could top the PYP bid if they want the onyx UR? Or does that get too complicated for people to follow?

I expect to get $125 each for the wanted onyx and $100 each for the unwanted ones.

If you get the onyx set for tokens for yourself expect to eat some additional cost for the purchase but it shouldn't be terrible

Last year was the best for this, as the "least desirable" URs were legendary ingredients.

I think those 2 will be desired by some. The cloak is a "fun one" that I could see theme runs for. The kilt could be great for those who missed the legendary.

Lucky Kilt is indeed desirable for those of us who missed the eldritch. Especially for classes that may want to wear Kilt + Cloak as a means to get the set bonus
