TOPIC: Safehold I's Power of Making Ioun Stones Slotless

Safehold I's Power of Making Ioun Stones Slotless 2 weeks 6 days ago #1

This will get updated to tokendb.com soon. Thanks for all your input! It is much appreciated.

Safehold I

Gain the benefits of a Safehold I

Anyone who shows a Safehold I in Coaching gains the benefit of Treasure Enhancer Ioun Stones (Silver Nugget, Gold Nugget, and Platinum Nugget) becoming Slotless items when equipped alongside Safehold I. They no longer count against the Ioun Stone cap. They are no longer Ioun Stones.

When you transmute a Safehold I, you also get five Mythic Transmuter tokens.

This table lists the maximum number of trainers you can equip at each Safehold level.

Thanks for the clarification. Sorry if my question on how it worked caused any issues for you and your team yesterday.

Yeah, definitely needed a bit of clarification before they become craftable in just a couple days.

Since we're discussing caps and effects, are you allowed to equip items that let you exceed the slot caps? Currently TDCC does not allow you to equip an item if you would exceed the cap.

For example, can you equip Luna's Charm Bracelets, Follower Fiend, and Arcane Earcuff, which would yield 11 charm slots? In other words, does the slot limit prevent you from equipping items that would exceed the cap?

Good question. My thought is to let people equip what they want, but the slots still should be limited in the character builders.

I had assumed that the follower fiend does not let you exceed the cap. I actually chose follower fiend over follower dragonkin because the dragonkin was going to put me over the Ioun stone cap.

According to the Safehold document "Followers can’t break the cap on slots that have an expansion slot cap."

While we're talking about slots, if the Token hasn't been printed yet I would recommend that the Rune Giant Totem wording be changed to "May equip one additional Mark". Saying specifically May equip two Marks boxes you in somewhat down the road if you plan on having other Tokens expand the Mark slot to more than two and you still want the Rune Giant to be worth something.

Example - A Greater Mark Bracelet that allows three Marks, or some slotted Legendary that allows four or more Marks may make the slotless Rune Giant Totem worthless.
