TOPIC: Did anyone else get 11 tokens in a sealed 2026 token pack?

One of my 2026 sealed 10 packs of tokens actually has 11 tokens in it. Did anyone else get one of these? I'm a bit torn on whether to open it. I'd like to leave it sealed because I love misprints and this kind of fits in that category, but am tempted to open it in case that 11th token is a Golden Ticket or 00 UR.

I had one 2026 ten pack (so far) that had 11 tokens. I wish I hadn't opened it! It didn't have a UR or GT in it.

I had a 2026 token 10-pack with two rares in it but only 10 tokens.

This is not an answer to your question, but something I'm curious about:

If you got a bunch of 10 packs, sometimes the platinums are located within the larger bundle in order, e.g. 1st position 1st pack in the bundle, 2nd position in the 2nd pack, and so on.

Do you recall the positioning of this pack in the larger bundle and if it's platinum was in the normal spot? That might tell you where the "extra" token came from, e..g above or below the platinum which would hint at the rarity if it is just a mis-collation error as opposed to an inserted special token.

Are GTs even distributed via 10 packs anymore now that they are 1-per-$8k order while supplies last?

Oh yeah, this I can confirm. I traded an 8k GT code for one so that I could have a non-marked up one in my collection. I know of one other person who did the same thing as well, so GT's are for sure still included in ten packs.

I think Jeff said as much during one of my shows as well.

Even though GTs aren't in $8K 10 packs, I think they are randomly inserted in packs for orders that are less than $8K.

I didn't open the 10 pack of 10 packs, so I'm not sure what the positioning was. I'm assuming that it's likely just an extra common in the pack, especially based on Trent's experience.
