TOPIC: Tome of Useful Scrolls question

Tome of Useful Scrolls question 11 hours 9 minutes ago #1

My Tome of Useful Scrolls has some non-wizard scrolls for when I'm running Bard or Druid instead of Elf.

If I'm running Elf and we're not currently in combat, if I hand my Tome to the Druid can the Druid read a Druid spell from the Tome as my once/game use?

Example: The party is preparing to sleep in an area where creatures of the night roam. The Druid borrows the Elf's Tome and reads Scroll of Instant Awakening before taking sleep shift.

Per tokendb you cannot. It must be the owner who uses it and they can only use it on scrolls their class is able to cast. Text from tokendb below:
"Once per game, the owner may use a Common or Uncommon Scroll as a Free Action without turning the Scroll token in.
Your class must be able to cast the scroll. E.g., this item does not grant wizards the ability to cast healing scrolls."

Andy (fellow central Buckeye). Do you have more than one Tome of Useful Scrolls? If you do, you can always loan the other(s) to the other casters in the group (slotless). So loan one to a divine caster in coaching and all is good. Have fun with it. It is a very fun token.
