TOPIC: Did the Golden Ticket Incentive Impact UR Prices?

I haven't been keeping up with TD economy stuff recently, but I gather:

a. UR prices were low in auctions (maybe all time low?)
b. Some trade goods were high in auctions (EB, OE, maybe all time highs?)

I've seen some discussion of how the $1000+ Mark of Enlightenment and various transmute deadlines drove this.

But I was thinking today about the GT incentive. If GTs go for ~$1000 and Mark of Enlightenment goes for $1000 then that's 25% of an 8k order's value with just those two incentive tokens.

Maybe this has already been discussed to death - but if not - I'd wonder if the UR prices seen this year aren't just going to be the new normal, more or less, if the GT incentive stays around and cool Paragon tokens stay around.

$1,000 for a Golden Ticket seems fairly in line with previous years, and it definitely does help. If you mean having one in every order, that does seem to help. It shouldn't have impacted Trent's auction prices though since he doesn't include the GT in the auctions.

The Mark of Enlightenment was also boosting sales, but it seems to really be struggling at the moment. In the future, for $8K token multi-year transmutes, it would be great if there were a lesser transmute that took any X of the tokens, and/or each individual token provide some benefit beyond being part of the transmute. That would help the years with higher sales keep some demand for them.

Don't forget that people were rushing to make their rings for Ring Con registration.
