TOPIC: Beta Testing: Alesiev Auctions Website

Beta Testing: Alesiev Auctions Website 3 hours 51 minutes ago #1

Hello TD Community!

I have been running some spreadsheet auctions on the forums/Discord and have decided to improve the overall auction experience. Therefore, I'm excited/nervous to present to you all: alesievauctions.com

This website is a means for myself, and others if they want (through me as the admin), to run auctions for 8K super condensed orders (though you can add anything that you would like really).

If you have interacted with my auctions before, please give the new site a go! Some notes for awareness:

1. Site is secured using SSL/TLS (that's a good thing!)
2. Passwords are NOT stored, only a secure, hashed representation of it (that's a good thing)
3. Any comments/feedback/concerns, please send them to me via DM or Discord!
4. This is NOT meant to compete in ANY way with Trent's auctions. He's got scale...I have a small, isolated server. I cannot compete with him...this is just to make it easier for ME to run auctions and open it up to others (charity auctions and the like).

I will add some more auctions probably later today or tomorrow for additional testing, but until then, check out the augmented auction to see what an augmented auction could look like!

Appreciate any feedback (good or bad). I told my wife that even if this flops and doesn't pan out, at least I have a nice machine to run a vpin cabinet :)

If anyone is interested in using the platform for a 2027 pre-order auction, reach out to me and we can discuss what you'll be withholding, augmenting, or offset costs.

I can set funding targets to be whatever you want ($0 for charity auctions), add any items you want with or without images, provide you a csv for quick uploading of items (and if they are token-based, I can write in the imagePath so it's all ready to go), etc. etc.

This is really just a labor of love and a side project for me to work on and learn some new things.
