Make them official and advertise them. They are beneficial for EVERYBODY involved with TD. I don't understand why there hasn't been more support for them already.

Golembane was 13. Zephyr was 14. Lycans was 13.

TD already provides a lot of support for the character generators, including allowing the use of token names and artwork. The fact that we are allowed to talk and advertise on the TD site is a huge help. By comparison, Gencon gets really upset if any product is mentioned in the forums. Listing them in the Online Resources is a great help.

I'm not sure what else can be done on the web site. I think most everyone who visits the site is aware of them. We (Binia and I) just need to do a better job of getting the word out to people who do not frequent the site.

Binia and I will be running demos at Whosyercon and Gencon, during any free time at the conventions.

We also very much appreciate the support we get from you and other players.

I am curious if your or anyone has heard any complaints about having to pay for the character generator apps? Of course the spreadsheet is free.

I never have, but I don't get around much.

Apple has a great "scam" going. You have to pay them hundreds of dollars a year to write apps for them and then they charge you a percentage of the sale, and a percentage of any in-app purchases. There is a lot more overhead to cover before you can think about making a profit, and that doesn't count the time. I don't begrudge the few bucks you charge. It's well worth it, IMO.

Anyone who does object to paying for the app has an easy remedy: don't buy it.

I'm glad TD supports it and allows it at all. I just feel it could be more prominently presented and in more places.

Demos will be awesome. At Gencon I may have access to a small table and chairs if you need it.

I have never heard any complaints about paying for the character generator, I heard several "best app purchase I've ever made" in the coaching and trading areas last year.
I finally got an Iphone 6 so I plan to purchase soon!

I do see that the Character Generator programs are listed pretty prominently on the Resources pages, that might be good enough.
