If you are an Indianapolis local (or have a place to stay in Indy) please think about volunteering for the TD fun at Who's Yer Con on April 1-3, 2016.

You shouldn't be working on your birthday! But this year I'm registering to volunteer.
My online token shop: www.tdtavern.com

We buy, sell, and trade True Dungeon tokens. We also have a convenient consignment program where you can sell your own tokens.

I'd love to volunteer again, but work commitments may keep me from being there Thursday. I might be able to be there late afternoon, in time for training and the run.

i did the Training Room and Tear Down last year. Could you use me this way again this year?
D&D teaches all the important lessons in life - the low blow, the cheap shot, the back stab, the double cross. - Jerry Marsischky

You try to get them to play the game, but all they want to do is play the rules. - Ardak Kumerian

I do not love the bright sword for its sharpness, nor the arrow for its swiftness, nor the warrior for his glory. I love only that which they defend - Faramir

But remember, "too many cooks spoil the broth."

Isn't it funny how so many old sayings contradict each other? Like "absence makes the heart grow fonder" and "out of sight, out of mind."

Which is my weird way of saying, "welcome aboard!"

Squeeee!

I am just super bouncy-happy-content to get the chance to slither into the other two cons and grow my convention family ..

Gah! So to make soup or not to make soup ... that is the question.. Or maybe cookies.

Do you have cookies at these things?

<3

Thanks!

Any volunteers are totally welcome. There is always a need to non-DM volunteers: NPCs or monsters (wear costumes and make-up!), blue hands (work behind the scenes!), set-up and tear-down (set up and tear down stuff!), customer service(collect forms and money and greet people and sell stuff!) - there's always a need for volunteers!

Puzzle DM is easy.

You read the entrance blurb (quickly, please, time is the enemy), and get out of their way, melting into the background. If the party does something wrong, you read the "fail" blurb and you tell them they took damage. If they solve it, you read the "success" blurb and join in their jubilation.

If time runs out, you read them the "you turn into a pumpkin" blurb and shoo them out before the horns are quiet, then go to meet the next group. Do NOT let them linger after the horns are done. That steals time from the next group, and it's one of the few things that makes me grumpy.

After a couple runs you'll probably have most of it memorized.

Combat DM is a kettle of different colored fish, so I wouldn't recommend trying that as your first DM experience.

Hello guys!

I was curious if it was too late to volunteer, as I haven't been on the forums much due to work and other things. I submitted the form and I'd still like to help out if there's something avaliable!

Thank you, and hope to see everyone at WYC! :cheer:
