Do the coaches even need to know? Not like they check starting HP that I have ever seen, since it is managed by the players.

Yes mostly because I'd hate to remind players of a bonus HP if its already calculated in.
Not every player that uses the sheets know what is pre-calculated and what isn't.
For folks that play grind there is an additional bonus on top of the bonus if they turn in the sheet.

Aside from all that, if the sheets are just "magic" and we're supposed to trust them, we're not super coaches. We should understand them and value them as amazing tools first and foremost.

But yes, HPs are a player tracked thing, but the coaches are supposed to be getting you set up correctly from the start, which includes starting HP.

From a philosophical perspective, I like them to be not included so they can be "given" which makes them feel more like a reward. If they are pre-calculated its takes away from the "given" aspect which changes the perception.

Yes, but not because coaches track HP. Coaches should know because it's a question they should be able to answer.

I know I'm contradicting an earlier post I made in this thread, but upon further reflection I think it might be better if the generators did not include the bonus because:

• Valetutto's eloquent reasoning
• I fear it may cause confusion on the part of players will inadvertently double-dip on the bonus.

I'd prefer for it to be included.

1. Stats are more accurate.
2. Less for me to remember.
3. Coaches will only need to mention it to the people not using an app.

Ok. Time to pick an answer. I have the IOS version submitted with mod to add the +1. If you have changed your collective mind, I need to pull it from submission.

I believe Brian is referring to the online builder on the web site. Last time I checked it did not include the 2016 token set, but that may have changed. I have not tried it in a while.

It hasn't been updated in years and even back then it had... issues.

Per Jeff, please do not include the +1 bonus in the generators.

That is what we needed.

I pulled the submission, so that version will not release. The +1 HP is removed, but I will hold off a new submission for a week to see if any other items come up.
