Thinking more about the 'eclipse night' clue in Druegar's image.
We've got:

2019:

1. July 2 - Total solar eclipse - could be something that night, which is also the night of a New Moon.

So on July 2nd we've got a concordance of an eclipse and a Dark Knight.

This eclipse is only visible at sea and portions of South America.

2. July 16 - Partial lunar eclipse, which is also the night of a Fully Moon. So.. it's dark a little during the eclipse but I think July 2nd is a better option than this.

3. December 26 - Annular solar eclipse, the 25th is a new moon.

2020:
1. Jan 10-11 Lunar Eclipse
2. Jun 5-6 Lunar Eclipse
3. June 21 - Solar Eclipse
4. July 4-5 - Lunar Eclipse - visible in North America
5. November 29-30 - Lunar Eclipse - visible in North America
6. December 14 - Total solar eclipse - south africa, south america

Of these - to me July 2nd seems the most likely pertinent to the hint.

Although, it's worth noting, that August 1st is a New Moon, and on all new moons the earth is "eclipsing" the sun from the perspective of the moon...

I'm that some kind of hint or new info will be forthcoming on July 2nd.

I am familiar with crop rotation as a concept, though not with the specifics. Which is why the cornfield in questions was chosen because it is only ever used as a corn field. Why doesn't this particular farmer rotate? You'd have to ask them.

Please say this should have been written in teal...

'The Morrow Plots occupy a central position on the campus of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign ... The two northernmost plots have been continuously planted in maize (corn) since 1876.'

Even if it was intended as a joke, how amazing would it be for Jeff to make Druegar stand out there waiting for someone to show up

As long as the field is only used for corn, it counts as a corn field.

You haven't been in the midwest very long so we will forgive you on this one. A cornfield can (and often does) become a soybean field and then again a cornfield...lol. Though it doesn't make your statement wrong, I would say it is incorrect in that fields used for things other than corn can be cornfields (every other year or so).

If the corn gets planted and bad weather happens early enough, farmers sometimes replant with soybeans in the same season even.

"Unfold"? I wonder if there is a secret fold-out page in the QTR.

Since 4th of July is coming up .
When fragments put together looked like a flag. There are stars on the American flag. 13 to start with but maybe 3 of those represent something.
Flag song - perilous night - dark night .

Have you tried splitting a certain page depth-wise?
Have you looked it up in the TDb?

3 stars maybe reference to the relics. There are three of them in sequence in the QTR

Kilt of dungeonsbane
Lute of free fury
Necklace of the sneak.

...and then the blank blank which may not be blank blank but the fold line?

Just my two cents... before treasure enhancers and during the time of wooden tokens...there was a relic...no longer useful as it was scattered into polygons...I am thinking ioun stones.

The ioun stone shapes have been evolving. I still feel like the gauntlet of bronze refers to Thanos giving props to the idea that you can have more stones into some hand slot super gauntlet of a thing

The three relics is one possibility because the stars on the QTR.

Taking it further another interesting possible is three stars referring to three stones...is the silver gold and platinum stone (coming in 2021) to create a new kind of treasure enhancer that doesn’t take away the three stones (as Jeff said) but uses them In a special slotted glove to allow for all these TEs to be put on that glove. Perhaps the transmutes glove holds the stones and in triple they give the TE and activate the glove in some way like the Kilt Dungeonsbane providing choice to the player at start.

It will no doubt please to you know I just spent 5 minutes shining a flashlight from behind the QTR pages searching for secret messages.

For the curious, I did not find anything.

Maybe someone who is good at computers can search for hidden data in the PDF file...

I already did a basic search for hidden text in the QTR pdf. There is hidden text, but it's just copy right stuff, and the phrase that is more or less "dragon logo". That isnt exactly it, but it was benign enough I didn't figure it was important

Edit - see post 96 for the text I dug up :

If the invisible text was only made visible by the static charge generated by splitting the page, one wouldn't be able to discern it by shining a flashlight through the un-split pages.

Hypothetically speaking, of course...
