TOPIC: Best place to communicate?

So what's the best place to communicate? Should I be on the Discord? Should I be on this forum? I'm kinda confused because I feel like there are two different locations.

What do you suggest?

The forums are the only place everyone from TDHQ will see it. Discord is mainly for side talk and not an official channel for discussion.

Officially the forums, unofficially the fan driven Discord has really grown over the years. There's folks who hang out 1 or the other or both.

I like for forums for stuff i want to reference or search out later (especially stuff like trade threads and build posts/links). However it's definitely not nearly as mobile friendly as Discord. But it does make easier for long form discussion and typing. And forums is still the official source (despite multiple folks who unofficially spend time on Discord).

Discord is more fluid conversation and with the various channels it's generally easier to get eyeballs on a topic of conversation from fellow players.

I prefer the Discord myself but the fact that on a busy day feeling like you can't catchup or search stuff is annoying at times. But since i'm on Discord for other servers/interests it's easier for me to at least pop in. It's also nice ot watch conversation happen and just react to a post to show agreement/disagreement vs +1 posts here on the forums.
