TOPIC: Preferred Attack Method on the Party Card

This year at GenCon I and others ran into an issue where the DM would just look at the board and use the melee stats listed. As a Monk, this is often not correct. I try to tell the GM at the start of the fight that I'm using ranged stats. But this year it seemed like I needed to tell some DM's every round. There was some discussion about the best way to indicate on the party card. Some suggestions included:
Highlight the preferred method
Cross out the unwanted one
Make a note for Monk's using Benrow's in the note column

It would be great if there was a chosen method by TD to mark how someone wants to attack. Mostly this is a Monk problem but does come up for other classes from time to time.
