TOPIC: What should we do to pass the time at GHC Saturday

So my daughter Kelly (who many of you know from runs or volunteering) and I are driving up Friday evening to spend Saturday at GHC. We have a couple TD runs in the afternoon and evening. Having never been to GHC before but hearing what a great relaxed event it is, we are wondering what folks really like to do that you think we should experience. we are always up for new games or hopping into a D&D type thing or wandering around. We could do more TD runs but would like to experience more of the Con if possible. Any helpful suggestions about things we should look for and/or try to do? Thanks in advance.

Lots of open board gaming,
There was a ton of 5th Ed, being played as well.

A non Gamehole Con recommendation

Eat at Ella's Deli on the east side of Madison. Its unique experience.

Starship simulator, open board game room, ton of pick up games. All the 5th edition dnd you could want, pathfinder, maybe some starfinder if they were able to arrange in time.

If you like Star Wars, there is an 8am Saturday game using the West End Games d6 system . It is a long-running campaign, but they've always been welcoming of new players and it is a pretty quick system to pick up. But it's not unique to GameHoleCon as the group also runs at GenCon, Origins, and many smaller conventions.


If you do wind up wanting to do some more TD, I've got some tickets left in the 12:00 noon Saturday True Grind run and would be happy to have you both join us.
