TOPIC: PAX 2020

After my 1st PAX south,
Let me just say I had a blast.
Texas in January is nice,
Though it did rain a bit.
The food and local seen was
Very good too.
Some possible improvements
For next year (hopefully TD returns there)
There needs to be a food stand
On the 3rd floor near the TD area,
Very Badly.
If they can’t put a full stand up
There, then at least sell Soda and water
From a cooler.
If that’s still not possible then roll in a Vending
Machine, as it sucked going all the
Back down to get something to drink or
to grab a bag of chips to eat.
Also I would have liked to see TD
Get just a bit more love from the
Con, some Promotion on the main floor
When you walk in would be nice to
See.

Otherwise everything was awesome.

As for water, you can bring a bottle of your own, there is a filtered bottle filler by the restrooms closest to the epilogue room.

True, but sadly like many Gamers
I really need to drink ice cold Soda-Pop all day Long or I’m a bit less happy.

Even snacks or cold sandwiches would be better.

I agree , a soda cart would help a lot.

Hell, put it on.level 2 and its 50% better.

Rock some wandering NPCs luring people up to TD.

The Valkyrie (Hell) walking the main floor
Or at a stand sending people upstairs
Would be very cool.

Those costumes are very hot.

Maybe the valkyrie from the bridge?

We are discussing 2 different things. Making things better for TD players (÷3rd floor food and drink) and helping TD grow (1st floor promo).

As with seemingly every Con, some more seating somewhere close to TD would be nice. Preferably with some tables.

This is a huge point! My God, there were like 8 total chairs and 2 coffee tables.

I dont know of they are supposed to be for open gaming or not, but GHC had a lot.

I'm pretty sure there was plenty of seating at gencon too, since they were right next to the big open gaming sorta area that had the games library and such in it.

Great Point,

And add a chill area,
Some Table and Chairs
A place to sit and eat, get off your feet,
Trade tokens with your friends.
Again it was a great experience,
I would just like to see it grow and
Improve a bit next year.

Did you try the "Quiet Room" that was down one floor from TD?
I saw a room like this for the first time at the first PAX South, and it was amazing!
No talking or noises--just chill.

I agree that there were limited chairs and tables in that area, but I'm grateful for the space we _did_ have.
