Cape of Command (Fighters)

Earcuff of Tactical Excellence (Fighters)
May give another +2 to hit [1/room] & +2 damage with melee attacks

Fighter transmutes help fighters be better, but, outside of those, still pretty bleak. Human Fighter especially has little, where +5 Charisma does something that only helps DF that equips other tokens. Could still tack on extra benefits only for HF to any appropriate token.

I suggest making these two items do something for other classes, even if Fighters get a superior benefit. If not these will be in very low demand, and as a result very few will be available on the secondary market.

Finesse Dagger
Adds Dexterity bonus to melee attack

To the melee attack to-hit, or to-damage, or both?

Does it add to, or replace any STR bonuses that would otherwise apply?

Slotless, may expend level 1 spell to cast a common or uncommon scroll as a spell, May expend a level 2 spell to cast a rare scroll as a spell. Scrolls must be useable by Wizards. (The sacrificed spells CAN be conserved via the Mage Medallion/Ashenne's and the scroll spell cast can be modified by the necklaces as well)
Wizard only

Assuming such spells are "spells" in every sense of the word, cool (e.g. it would be as if they had been written onto the character card).

I suggest making it a bit more flexible:

Expend a level 0 or higher spell to cast a C scroll.

Expend a level 1 or higher spell to cast an UC scroll.

Expend a level 2 or higher spell to cast an R scroll.

Also, why not open this up to the other casters?

+2 To Hit bonus when used two handed, can be used 1 handed.
Fighter, Dwarf Fighter, Barbarian, Ranger, Paladin

Situational bonus to hit sounds problematic.

I suggest making it throwable and returning instead. And I'm going to keep campaigning for Harl-Axe ad the name ;)

Also, why are Rangers on this?

D4 + 5 damage wheel
Includes 3 points of poison damage

If something like this is printed I'd like to see the damage NOT be baked into the damage wheel.

Lots of monsters (perhaps the majority of them) are immune to poison, but in the heat of combat I don't think DMs are remembering to subtract 2 from VSF, or will remember to subtract 3 from this.

Alternatively just skip the poison thing and give it a reasonable UR weapon damage wheel.

Better to be lucky than good.

Instead of rolling for initiative, flip this token. If it comes up heads you win initiative. If it comes up tails, you lose initiative.

Love this idea...not sure it's a UR but could definitely be a rare. I would want a lot of groups to get to use this in the dungeon.

I have strong concerns about the idea of this token.

1. What happens when half the party wants to use it and half don't?

2. It has the potential to be stronger than a party equipping a set of ten Charm of Awareness or Awakened Synergy.

1. Gotta work it out like other teamwork aspects.

2. Better to be lucky than good!

Has there been any info on if there is going to be a Grand Arcanum set and if it would need an imbuing token like the teeth? The majority of those were UR.

Better limit it to Bard, Cleric, Druid, and Wizards otherwise Paladins and Rangers will get to wear these due to Wand of Illumination which would be weird.

Tokens that mess with other party members stats / effects are usually not a good idea.

I could imagine a fair amount of conflict stemming from this.

I'd make the downside personal.

If you win the flip +5 to party initiative, if you lose you are stunned for 1 round.

Something like that.

I like that idea - so you have to own the item, you use it in conjunction with this token, and you gain no effects of that token, other than it's counting as a set peice?

Correct

2-handed d12 +2 weapon but gains bonuses and benefits from tokens as if it was both a 1-handed and a 2-handed weapon. Barbarians and Fighters.

+1 - really well thought out and memorable idea.
