TOPIC: New to both Gen-Con and True Dungeon LF 2 tickets for new players

Greetings hopeful future friends.
It is me and my buddy first time at Gen-Con and we were really excited about entering the True Dungeon, but we did not know that it would sell out because we thought you could walk up. We were wondering if anyone had 2 tickets for the event. We would like to pay for the tickets. We just would like the experience on our first visit to Gen-Con.

Edit: We have a packed RPG schedule at are looking for ticket start times;
Thurs: 11p.m. to 1a.m.
Fri: 6a.m. to 10a.m. and 7p.m.- 9p.m.
Sat: 8p.m. to 10p.m.

I did my first True Dungeon with my buddy in 2018 because people returned 2 tickets. I assume they had a tournament run long or had something else they had to do. Keep an eye out even during the convention, 2 are bound to show up.

Back when I didn't try that hard to play TD, what we did at least twice was show up late at night as walk ups as not everyone plays everything they pay for. This may not work the same anymore, but I'd imagine it's easier to find openings late at night than when people are more awake, more fed, and less inebriated.

But, then, there are these forums where I believe there are openings.

Something to note about Gen Con's search page - it doesn't always show accurate ticket availability. Right now, I see two tickets for the Saturday 2:49PM R2 run and three for the Thursday 8:26AM R3 run

So, how do you find those?

By looking at each individual event detail page. It's part of the helper tool I wrote for the group index threads. It automatically requests each page, scrapes the ticket count and shows me the results.
