TOPIC: Room 7 creature

Part was a flower, but the back-it made me think of a wasp or similar insect.

A cross between a praying mantis and a wasp?

It had claw attacks, I think the attacks were sticky / grappled you (everyone in my party had free movement), and it had an area of effect when it beat its wings.

Also, apparently Neutralize Poison didn't work when cast against it. Grumble grumble grumble.

Well, I'll treat it like a spoiler, but not sure if we'll see this creature again. It was called a vespidae capensis. I found the following doing a search.

Vespidae - The Vespidae are a large (nearly 5000 species), diverse, cosmopolitan family of wasps, including nearly all the known eusocial wasps.

For capensis, the most closely related definition I could find is for the "drosera capensis", which is a carnivorous plant native to South Africa.

I'm guessing it was a hybrid of these.

Basically, it’s a cross between a sundew, a demon, and a giant hornet.
