TOPIC: VTD Game Mechanics- do all 3 in my party need separate TD CHARACTER GEN accts?

Sunday 11/9 our group of 3 will do our first VTD Event in the afternoon. For GenCon we had all of our classes together in one TD Character Generator account.
Can we all use my account for VTD like we did at GenCon, or do all three of us need our own unique accounts? We’re all family and I don’t mind sharing login credentials with my son and daughter-in-law.
If we each need our own account do the two new accounts need to import their characters into the new accounts, or can they tap into our original account with all our classes loaded?
Anyone have definitive knowledge on this?

I usually use the app so I am not an expert, but my understanding is that you'll all need your own TD Character Creator account, since you'll need to be logged into the account to play the character. The good news is that accounts are free and it's very easy to share a character from account to account. Since you're comfortable sharing passwords, you could set up the new accounts with similar (or the same, I guess) passwords.

Using Clone Existing Character functionality, it's possible to clone anybody's build.

From top dropdown, can choose edsummers User Account, or anyone else's. Then next dropdown select any character like, say, Nera. Then put in name in third box, select class, and hit Clone button.

I clone characters from other people's accounts whenever I want to show them possible changes to their builds.

I can confirm that they do NOT need separate TD character accounts. I also play with my son and daughter-in-law and they login and select the character from my login. As I am the quartermaster, it is also easier to keep it in one place.
They do need separate emails for the tickets and tracking of experience.
