TOPIC: Do you need a RotSC at Ring Con, or just the Code?

Do you need a RotSC at Ring Con, or just the Code? 4 months 3 weeks ago #1

You use the code you get from transmuting a Ring of the Sacred Circle to register for Ring Con and to sign up for events. When you are at Ring Con, do you need an actual Ring with you or are you good to go as long as your ID matches your account where the code was used?

Thanks!
Mike

Thanks, Trent! I saw that, but thought that maybe that was written before TD decided to use codes.

Lori’s 12/29/25 email sending the Ring codes included the following:

Tickets for events at Ring Con are NON-TRANSFERRABLE! All players will be required to show their Ring of the Sacred Circle upon entrance to
venue.

Unless I missed something (very possible LOL), they've always said the rings are required to attend, just like the skulls were required to attend Skull Con. I guess you could say the RoSC codes are for buying the tickets on td.events, which come with the rings, but the rings are required to attend the event.

Yes, you have to show the Ring token to get your badge.

We are tracking the codes and tickets. So, if you have a MoE and a RoSC code, do not give the RoSC code to your cousin Eddie and let him buy tickets!! You have to have a Ring to attend - and if you have a MoE, you get earlier access to tickets - but you still have to have a Ring to attend!

Just seeing this, I guess I’ll just have to meet uncle Eddie and have rings available for him to check in? I’m not shipping him tokens at this point. Why limit us to one run, and go through the hassle of codes, if we also need to present rings? This is way more confusing than it needs to be.
