TOPIC: Treasure Enhancers at Ring Con Confusion

There are two FAQ answers on the Ring Con page that are a bit confusing when taken together:

Do all Ring Con adventures come with a 10 pack of tokens, and will all of them allow use of Treasure Enhancing tokens for additional treasure pulls?
All three adventures will come with a 10-pack of tokens (from earlier years due to the tariff situation). All ticketed events at Ring Con have a flat Treasure amount. No TEs will be needed!

Fang & Fury - 10 random Treasure pulls
True Grind - 10 random Treasure pulls
The Sacred Circle - 20 random Treasure pulls
The Sacred Path - 20 random Treasure pulls

Is Fang & Fury a 10-pack token run? What level of difficulty can we play it at?
Fang & Fury will be 10-pack only. Thus, you can only run it at Normal or Hardcore difficulty and can only use 1 UR Treasure Enhancer.

I don't know what the purpose of the Treasure Enhancer is if the amount of treasure received is a fixed amount. So not sure if these answers should be updated or tweaked in some way.

Thanks for posting that, I did not realize that Ring Con didn't need TE tokens. I agree those two faqs are contradictory.

Thanks for pointing that out. Web people have been notified. All runs have set treasure amounts and that page will be updated shortly.

We now continue with our regularly scheduled Ring Con...

This is on me. We had originally planned to allow a single UR Treasure Enhancer for the 4-room dungeon, and when we changed to a flat 10 treasure pulls I thought I'd gotten all the references to that removed from the page. Looks like I definitely missed some spots.

Please let me know if y'all see references to Ring Con TEs anywhere else! All Ring Con dungeons have a flat amount of treasure and do not require TEs.

I can pack a bit less for Ring Con, which is always nice.

Not sure if it is in scope, but the td.events pages for Fang & Fury and The Sacred Circle have notes and images about treasure not in line with the FAQ and for The Sacred Path just the text looks out of line (the image looks consistent with the FAQ):

td.events/conventions/ringcon/events/sacredcircle - Both the text and the image
td.events/conventions/ringcon/events/sacredpath - Just the text

Definitely nice to know I can leave the TE's at home, apart from ones I'm offering up for trade, that is.

True grind isn’t consistent either. One place says 10 treasure and the actual event page says you get 20.

Different but similar question to Treasure Draws, will you have a separate station that we can use our yellow Treasure Draw tokens at, or should we hold it for another time?

The Ring Con graphic for Fang & Fury on td.events still reference 3 treasure pulls and one UR TE.

Similar for Sacred Circle.

What I was told is that we will have a Treasure Draw chest at the Transmute Room for people to redeem the yellow chips!
