TOPIC: Ring Con Appreciation

What a lovely weekend. Getting to do some TD, see a bunch of friends, and make new ones. This was honestly a blast.

Did anyone else ponder if this should be a more regular event for the community?

Thanks to all the TD folks! RingCon was awesome! Great TD runs (I hope the screaming NPC that was chained to the table still has her voice), was nice catching up with fellow TD players, and great spending time with my family. Looking forward to TD Con in a few years!

She was still getting it back this morning. All of us were just shocked by how much she KILLED that role! I told her today I think she found her new calling in being various monsters!

It was a great convention, and we thought that all of the volunteers, DMs, and NPCs were wonderful and so friendly and joyful. I agree that the lady that was chained up just killed that role, I told her during our run how wonderful she was.

The dungeon itself was excellent, we especially liked the set where you had to put the rings inside an enclosed building and the final room with the ten windows showing the saints and various transmutable equipment.

It was so nice seeing all of the Martins! It's hit and miss if I'm able to see Jeff during a GENCON, so it was great to see him and be able to chat for a little bit.

We also enjoyed the slide show at the entry to the coaching rooms, and my friends and I were surprised and happy to see me in several of the photos (we caught a couple of the photos on our phone cameras).

I didn't have any luck with my Silver Ship, the transmuter always seemed to be on break when I was there to do the challenge, but I'm sure that is just on me for not trying more times.

It was great to see so many people there enjoying True Dungeon and the gaming area. It would be great for there to be an annual True Dungeon event at Carbondale, maybe more in the March/April timeframe to separate it a bit more from Gencon.

Thank you to everyone who made this convention a great success. The kids and I had a wonderful time. It was great putting names to faces and meeting some really fun people in meat space. I hope to see a bunch of you at Gen Con!
